Whether we CTB or choose to push on in hopes that we die in our sleep at age 90, death comes for us all. Memento mori.

That being said, what do you want others to remember about you? I think when people we love and cherish CTB, people tend to focus on the circumstances of their passing and trying to dissect their reasoning for ctb rather than appreciating who they were as individuals.

I try to remember little things about others that have used their bus tickets already, as I think it takes away some of the sadness of losing someone and allows them to live on, in a way.

When I leave this world, I want others to be able to glean from my situation some initiative to improve the way disabled people are treated. I want people to know that I loved my boyfriend very much, even if we didn't always see eye to eye and got into arguments sometimes, he is the only reason I am still here. His love is what brought me peace.

I want others to know that I loved cats- always found it sad that I didn't get to have one in this lifetime, mind you- and that seeing kittens on the screen brought me great joy especially Herbert from the Hi Herbert! videos. I loved Steins;Gate, as well as writing fanfictions that revolved around the meticulously crafted universe within the visual novels. I loved to cosplay before I became ill, immersing myself in an escapist world that existed beyond ours was a momentary lapse in my suffering.

I want to be remembered as an evil villain. Someone whose death makes the world a better place because I'm not in it to ruin lives or poison the earth. At the very least, I'd settle for being remembered as an annoying prick, anyone who would make people glad I am dead.

That was a lovely post. <3

Personally, I would rather that no one remembers me. Mostly because I do not want to cause anyone pain. I take comfort in the fact that I am less than a grain of sand on a very small beach in this world, and that 100 years from now no one will remember me.

Nothing.

Maybe only the ones I love specially here, I want them to remember how much I loved them. Also anonymously I want some people to remember the stuff I made like logic and exposing life and its shit, or the simple music I make, also I don't know how to draw but maybe my drawings also in the future.

Tbh nothing. I wish I had the power to erase all memories of me from ppl mind. I take comfort by saying to myself when I die it won’t matter whether ppl think of me. Also I take comfort knowing all the ppl that knows me will die one day and the memories of me will die with them. About photos, videos and other evidence about me, I take comfort knowing all those for sure will be destroyed when the universe end that is if they weren’t destroyed before that.

i hope the few people i interacted with in what will most likely be my very short life remember me as a guy who was just generally nice and polite to others, even if i personally have always had difficulty understanding others and relating to them.

I think my mom will remember quite a few things about me...like me making her laugh with some sarcastic or cynic remarks or me playing the piano in the past, me being there for all kinds of animals and trying to safe them or feed them,
me watching Tv series with her and never taking ghost stories serious, me talking a lot about books, movies and video games (which I loved), me dancing and singing (horribly) all the time.
Also others might remember how I was back in school (nice, reserved, quiet, generous, likable) and how I sometimes had a good time with them.

I can't really say I've left anything good behind. I wish I had. But at least I'll leave behind a story that will hopefully help make sure none of this happens to someone else. Probably won't make a difference, but it would be nice if it did.

Well, we'll all be forgotten sooner or later unless we become astronauts and are the first human beings to put a foot on Mars or something like that lol.

Anyway, I'd like to be remembered as the guy who loved dogs, cats, birds, etc more than humans and also, as the suicidal person who always insisted that life sucks just because the very act of existing is absurd even though "normal people" will never admit or understand it.

Nothing.

I have alway felt like a burden on those around me, so I would want to set all those who feel obligated to me free. I mean, I used to think I wanted people to remember me as I am, but I am highly flawed & inconsistent due to mental health concerns. So I would rather be forgotten than be reduced to the sum of my mistakes.

I want people to remember me for the free spirit that I used to be; an adventurer and an inquisitor. I want to be remembered for the funny ridiculous things I've said and done. For my love of animals and nature and making things by hand. Most of all, I want to be remembered for being caring, even of strangers. And for loving my friends and family endlessly. I really hope I'm not remembered for my mental downfall.

There are plenty of people I wish would completely forget about me right now.

I generally don't care how I'm thought of presently. I wasn't made to. My being dead surely won't change how I feel about that. I wish there was someone I could really relate to but it's been long enough without that happening that it seems quite unlikely it ever will. Not in the cards, as it were.
