Discussion What are your thoughts on God and Hell regarding to suicide? do you believe in them?

I'm a catholic so I believe in purgatory then heaven, I also believe in reincarnation but that has nothing to do with my religious beliefs

why would beings be tested though? especially if they just don't want to do anything with life. I almost fully believe in God, by the way, I just don't understand why God does/doesn't do certain things

Tough one. I believe in God and Jesus. I follow the commandments. I pray. I like church but I haven't had many good experiences with those who claim to be Christian.
I believe in miracles as I've seen others experience them.
However I wonder if God has favorites and those whose prayers he doesn't hear. Because my situation is not improving despite my pleas. I would prefer not to ctb but how much more of this life am I supposed to take? I have had more tragedies than most and it takes its toll.

Do you believe in hell? I believe in God too, but I don't believe that there's a literal place where people are getting burnt up. I don't believe a god would make people suffer for eternity, nor do I think he would punish someone for suicide. There's no clear answer to what "hell" even is in the Bible. It's all metaphors, symbolism, or parables.

I think we're in hell itself, just given everything thats going on and the fact we're all forced to be here and suffer. Then some decide to repeat that by having kids, haha.

I stopped believing in anything though a long time ago, but I was raised religious as a kid. I just couldn't fathom a god seeing these horrible things being done, even to children, and being fine with that, with free will as an excuse.

Reincarnation to a better life, or a world where you get to be with the ones you love sounds nice. I like to picture myself being with my fictional partners in a different world entirely.
