• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

ctb should be prevented, for sure. but sometimes its for the better right? sometimes its more damaging to keep pushing, right?

I don't think there will ever be any "signs" beyond your own discretion. People have survived with debilitating chronic pain/illness, conditions like cluster headaches (literally called suicide headache because they are one of the most painful things you can experience), and more. They've even found some ways to be happy.

The real crux of it is what you are willing to deal with, what you feel is truly worth it. If you're looking for signs, it sounds like you're not ready. The final decision to ctb can come from you and ONLY you.

i think it can be seen on a continuum rather than a binary choice. a certain threshold of quality of life where dying becomes an option on the table. not an imperative, but an option.

Just wanting some peace

For me ceasing to exist is always preferable, in fact for me ceasing to exist is the positive solution to find peace from the torture and suffering of this dreadful, painful and deeply undesirable existence I just always saw as a mistake where there is no limit as to how much one can be tortured.

I'll just always find it torture to exist no matter what, it's just so terrible how humans cause all this harm and suffering by imposing this existence at all, to be conscious burdened with this existence is the most terrible, torturous burden and I'd never wish to be conscious of anything at all. I just find it so horrible how the torture can continue for decades longer just for one to face the terrible extreme agony of old age, to exist really is an abomination to me and all I want is peace, simply just existing is enough to make me wish for the peace of non-existence where all is gone and forgotten but of course this existence should never be imposed at all.
