• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

    👉 View the ledger here

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Why is this such a common thing to say, even among the so called depressed folk?

Why is it so hard to understand that perhaps we want some agency over how we go, or that sometimes enough is enough?

It's one thing to say a thing like that, but then what? You're still stuck where you don't want to be, and have to do all the work necessary to keep going. To me it feels like they think everything comes without a cost, like just do it you fuck, there's cookies waiting for you if you make it to your natural end.

Then answer honestly, calmly, gently.

Because dying now seems significantly better than living until I die naturally. For this or that reason.

I just have answers ready, I thought about it. And listen to what they say.

I actually do this. Communicate, calmly, without being rude, explain your position, talk.

I have an incredibly rational and objective way of thinking, based on truth, facts; and a lot of time and patience. This helps me a lot. Of course I can be wrong, new evidence can arise or people tell me things I haven't thought about. It happens. By talking and listening.

It's certainly bizarre. The answer seems obvious- the person is suffering and can't see how to stop it. They want to end that suffering asap- who wouldn't?

It's like saying- 'It looks like you might have shattered your collarbone but- the hospital will be there next month. Why bother going there now?' Because they want to get out of pain you numpty!

They also don't want things to get any worse. I imagine plenty of people suicide so as to save themselves from an even worse future.

It's inaccurate too, to imagine suicide will always be an accessible option. Imagine trying to commit in a nursing home.

This is up there with suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem. Newsflash dipshits, some people have been suffering for decades with no end in sight.

I understand and for me I'd always prefer to not exist no matter what, we are all going to die anyway so I'd rather peacefully cease existing to escape from all future unnecessary suffering in this existence where I'm just waiting to die anyway where there is no limit as to how much one can be tortured just to die in agony from old age.

I find it so dreadful how a human can be burdened with this existence for so long, I see nothing desirable about facing the torture of old age after suffering for so long in this existence I never would had chosen in the first place rather the thought of such is so unbearable and horrific to me, all I want is some peace, I just want to never suffer again.
