during the worst, most traumatic time in my life i used to watch gore daily. it was partly in search of some sense of identity (i saw ppl who were "gore addicts" and thus watched gore daily in hopes of being a "gore addict" due to a complete lack of a sense of self) but also i liked the suicide videos. these people had clearly suffered greatly to get to this point and i found it oddly nice watching them finally be at peace, for their pain finally to end

tho tbh i was a messed up teenager at the time and quite frankly i dont know how to feel abt that person who thought those things

Even I watch it when I am suicidal. Somehow it calms me. In periods of my deepest depression, I used to watch gore daily

On gore sites you never see peaceful suicides though it's always some mess where their entire head is like minced meat or something

their head may be mincemeat but they are no longer suffering, thus they are at peace.

It's definitely addicting and addictions can make the bad thoughts go away, but be mindful of how much damage you're doing to yourself by watching that stuff. Speaking as someone who spent an entire year watching gore daily, it made me feel even more disconnected from reality and numbed my feelings to the point I was an emotional zombie. Hope you can find another way to deal with these thoughts that doesn't involve mincing your psych. Have you tried watching violent movies instead? They give me a familiar high but without the moral and mental drawbacks.

i used to "watch" gore (well, muted video and id use the video bar to see what happens), i remember my first exposure to it and whatever rpad i fell into. gore never changed my pov on my suividial thoughts but, itd feel like i was craving tp constsntly see gore. im not an adfict to it but, i remembering trying to find a lot of sites that hosyed gore, subreddits too. id always look at murders, suicide, even self harm. im squemish and cant handle gore, it rewires me and i change but i alaays felt a need to go back and keep looking.

seeing gore would just remind me of reality and how frighting the situations can be, how much it hurts. i deleted my WPD account a month ago i think. sometimes i wish i went back but my mind will always replay some.

Wouldn't say there's nothing wrong since it's actual people you're watching through the screen, also be mindful of the damage you're doing to your head, what if one day you regret ever starting to watch this kind of stuff? These wounds never heal. Take care.

Watching gore can traumatize you and give you PTSD. I feel way better after I quit this habit. I did this as a teenager though.

It depends on who and what environment they were brought up in, some people are born more sensitive than others

WPD and SS are my hideout when having suicidal thoughts, although I became pretty much desensitized to most gore.
