Hi,

I think It was easier to ctb before... well, when I say before, I mean about 30 years ago... There weren't all these fences, nets, barriers, suicide prevention measures for jumping... even for medication, I have the impression it was easier before, less surveillance by social security because there was no internet... And then in general, I think... now everything is forbidden, safety regulations... etc. On the other hand, the arrival of the internet has made it easier to access certain things, but you still have to know what you're doing.

What do you think?

Thanks

It was probably easier to CBT until around the time they stopped prescribing barbs and replaced them with benzos. I mean heroin and cocaine were invented as medicines, and you could go out and buy them (inside a drink or a losenge or something) in a regular pharmacy.

In the middle ages it was probably easier, at least by hanging, its not like people could just call an ambulance right after finding you, if they found you before the 30 minute mark

I dont speak reality but methods of ctb
Idk wtf I was on when I typed that I think I was rushing because I was busy,

What I mean is, with the way our society works, in reality, it's extremely hard to find methods now that are easy and reliable. Most of them have been proofed and I 100% agree that it's way harder to CTB now adays.

I bought rope less than 30 minutes ago but I've been considering jumping as well. Honestly I've got a lot keeping me back from doing it, I need to iron out my letter. I found a bridge near me with no fencing !!! So!!! Yay ^_^!!

I'll never do this but I was considering a motorcycle the other day. I'd get mildly intoxicated, head out to the country, ditch the helmet, and oops! I lost control and slammed into an immovable object at 150 MPH. I wouldn't leave a note, I'd just let everyone think that I got a "wild hair" and that it was accidental. It couldn't be much worse than jumping.

I was easier for sure. 30 years ago, you could easily find barbiturates in pharmacies. Our era is so shitty... Let's hope euthanasia will be more accessible in the next years.
