Are you sure it was Sodium nitrate? In an earlier post you stated it was sodium nitrite and you were very specific on what you bought.

"I did obtain a "2lb Sodium Nitrite Food Grade 99+% Pure Granular Free Flowing Food Processing & Manufacturing" from Duda Energy on Amazon."

I looked up that product on amazon and it is sodium nitrite.

That's very interesting. I'd like to know more.

This story is not believable to me.
I cannot remember the girls name that crossed over in December so please forgive me , went back through threads to try and jolt my memory .
She took on the first attempt nitrate , ordered the wrong product and if I remember correctly she didn't go to the ER , came out of it on her own.
Bought nitrite around 2 weeks later and Ctb. Something about the OP post doesn't add up unless nitrate affects people differently which I doubt .

Antifreeze suicide attempt also seems bizarre. They took antifreeze, went to bed, and then went to work the next morning because they had to open (post 1210 below in introduce yourself below). WTF?

It's not that entirely unusual. I recall an acquaintance telling me that his uncle once drank anti-freeze because he was going through alcohol WDs and was desperate. I had a similar experience, except instead of anti-freeze it was a copious amount of sleeping pills. I was naive at the time and foolishly believed you could OD on sleeping pills. I just woke up the next morning really nauseous, heavily disoriented, and was drooling during work. It was fucking terrible. Don't even know how I made it through my shift.

Apparently I was tired and not thinking clearly. Pulled out the container and sure enough it says Sodium Nitrite. Sorry for the confusion. And yes, drinking antifreeze doesn't kill you immediately. It takes time as the body has to metabolize it into the harmful chemicals that DO kill you by shutting down the kidneys.

How painful was it? Any stomach pain, fast heartbeat, headache, or any other symptoms? Did you vomit? How does it compare to antifreeze poisoning? Have you fully recovered?

Censored medical records (of course no personal information, no information which hospital etc.) would be very helpful. Is there any information about your past condition?

OP sure it is SN, sorry for raising issues, it was confusing :)

Your recovery seems long , and you were found with high oxygen levels.. Interesting case. Thanx for sharing your experience!

But How much exactly was this "sip" ? It was enough to knock you down but keep O² saturation levels high!

1. Sodium Nitrate
2. Conventional spoon used to eat food with
3 & 4. I poured an entire glass of water (same amount used originally into a measuring cup) and it was 1.5 cups (US system here)
5. Exactly 1.5 cups of water to 2 -2.5 tablespoons of sodium nitrate. I didn't level each spoonful out so it wasn't super exact.

It took probably 20 minutes to lose consciousness. EMT said I was sweaty and blue. Happened on a Monday afternoon, and I didn't wake regain consciousness until Wednesday morning. No pain or discomfort except being intubated. Body weight is 145lbs. I guess I didn't read the SN mega thread correctly. I could have sworn it was sodium nitrate, NOT nitrite, but after rereading the thread, it is intact NITRITE that I should have bought. Regardless, I used sodium nitrate
I
definitely would not "experiment" with this stuff unless you are ready ctb. Had I not been found, I'd probably be dead which would have been okay with me since it ws just like going to sleep, but I still wanted to live for tomorrow and still do as of now.

Sodium Nitrate is the wrong stuff it will not kill you. SN is Sodium Nitrite

so it was nitrite ?. and you said it burned you nostrils every time you burned ? I've never heard of anything like this before. it also contradicts reports from other users. I'm calling this fake.

Its clear OP had sodium nitrite but confused the two words he might still be knocked silly because he experienced the right symptoms!

Hey, love... I'm glad your roommate found you at the right time before you passed, although you wouldn't have cared. 2 tablespoons is quite lethal for someone testing SN. In fact I'll be taking one tablespoon tomorrow to ctb, so I can't imagine two tablespoons. Glad to have you here, but please be careful. How are you doing now? How are you feeling? And what steps will you take now? We're here for you.

Sending you all of my love.

I've attached some screenshots with redacted info. Hopefully it will clear it up. It's been a rough few weeks and I was getting confused. I didn't mean to cause any confusion here. Sorry about that.

Feel free to ask any questions, although I'm not on here much, so it might be a little while.

Do you recall anything else besides passing out? How long did it take to go unconscious?

Almost makes you wonder if nitrate is better used to ctb, than nitrite, if it only took 2 sips.

There are case reports of people dying from as little as 2g of SN, I guess they didn't throw up because it was such a little amount their stomach didn't think it was an issue. Their oxygen levels were 83 though so maybe their body had begun recovering when they were found?

The good thing if we can say so, is that OP didn't suffer and blacked out

Concerning du*a en*rgy their product are cheaper than l**dw*lf I'm a little bit skeptical (pure enough). If someone has info concerning their reliabiliy it would be great!

I don't know. I ordered the raucous lupine brand off of the giant river, because the energetic brand only came in 2 kilogram bags, and, frankly, I'm not about making this a party.

X-Kid, I'm sorry for whatever has driven you to this, but thank you deeply for sharing your experience. The knowledge of your experience is invaluable to many here, myself included. Also... your redacting in the first image could use some additional darkening, if privacy concerns abound.

Should be looking for pure SN , no additives ! Energy has minute additives and is only sold in 2 lb bags .
Seek elsewhere for peace of mind !

Latest pph says 50ml to 100ml water is good for SN. So shooting for 75 ml water would allow for human error imo.

25 grams of SN dissolved in 75 ml of water is what I would do. Of course take 30 mg metoclopramide and tagamet 45 minutes to 1 hour before sn. And fast 8 hours before sn .

There I condensed the SN megathread of a thousand pages into 3 sentences.

How to kill yourself with SN, the abridged version. Thank you!!
Apologies for that. Not sure if I can edit the thread title. If a mod would like to do so, please fix it. I was given methylene blue since they diagnosed me with methemoglobinemia.

Did they suspect anything? Was the methyl blue administered orally or injected?
