It's got to be awful to have one specific event that ruined the rest of your life. I'm so sorry.

I think I would travel back to before I was born, give my parents a big hug but plead with them not to have me.

If I could travel back in time, I'd try to save my mother from breast cancer, then kill my own father afterwards. I always contributed him to being my main reason why I was miserable for the majority of my life (or at the very least after the point things were supposed to get better). I'd do it just to see how things play out of curiosity. I've always wondered what my life would be like if my mother was the second to pass away much later in life instead of my father.

Have you watched that movie "The Butterfly Effect"? Well the main character can time travel and there's a deleted scene where he went back to when he was inside his mother's womb and strangle his umbilical cord to off himself to make everyone happy.
I kinda like the idea.

I feel so sorry for you. Your extreme pain is really palpable. You have one of the most horrible lives I read about in this forum. Life is so injust. You seem to be an intelligent, fully innocent person that got a brain damage which you absolutely did not deserve.

The notion of being unable to commit suicide and being unable to properly communicate about my suffering both scare the shit out of me.

Recently I watched a discussion of philosophers about antinatalism and in my point of view these people should listen more to people like you. They are not aware how deeply nighmarish and hellish life really can become.

100% agree. Death is the one thing no one can take from you, but being unable to choose and stuck for who knows how long is the one thing I truly fear.

My grandma has been in a wheelchair since she was 26. She is now in her 80s, barely able to move anything at all. This is just cruelty with no way out and no one cares, "we have to preserve human life at all cost" they say. I wouldn't wish this kind of life onto a worm. Witnessing her decay, over the last 20 years alone, is just... sickening.
