Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

The dsm if it comes to mental illness is trying to shove very complex often parodixal behavoir into boxes. For thr billing cycle. The dsm paints poeple as "the always manipulative covert narcissist" or thr "black and white thinking bpd person" which has nothing to do with real life. My mother has covert narcissism ans she be selfless supportive parent at times. I have bpd ans black ans white thinking isnt a thing for me. People and they brains, their psyche are infinite complex. The dsm isnt complety wrong but its like drawing a stick figure of a person on a piece of paper. Nothing to do with real life. After all its buisness. Therapist wants to mske money snd theire goal is to gaslight people to feel okay in their dead end low wage job serving the machine. 20 years I spend awound these society claimed "expert". Nothing but nonsense coming out of them.

Psychologists today are not unlike surgeon-barbers of the 14th century. I'm not saying that what they are doing is not good or important or necessary, but it isn't quite medical science yet. People assume that their doctor must understand, and their doctor probably believes what they studied, which is conjecture, at best. Educated, well-meaning conjecture, but conjecture, nonetheless.

I get this impression too- that psychology and methods of diagnosis and treatment are well behind other heathcare. Do you suppose it's because the brain is far more complex and less easy to understand than other organs?

I get the weird, disturbing sense though- that psychology isn't even focussing on the brain! More, people's symptoms. As the OP puts it- putting people into boxes and labelling them. Even going on theories by famous psychiatrists from decades ago- rather than scientifically examining people and their brains now.

That said- I know next to nothing about the field. Perhaps I'm doing them a great injustice, assuming these things.
