People, people, don't freak out over one article. Sites like this one were ALWAYS on the government's radar. Much like escort sites and drug sites, and those are alive and well. But the manpower to shut them down just isn't there. Plus, we have the First Amendment we can use as cover. As far as I'm concerned, we're safe. What country is this site hosted in, anyway? In the worst case, we can migrate to offshore server in a country that doesn't cooperate with the US/UK/EU.
Another thing: we're a private platform, and can choose what to host on here. Much like Bookface censors anti-lockdown protests and insider information on the Biden Flu, but allows looters and even Taliban to plan their attacks on it. That's because George Soros paid them to do it and bribed the US government not to stop them, though. But still.

Maybe we should stop committing suicide and just write stories on people doing it, that way we can ask methods not be in public scrutiny as it's just for writing a realistic story

I noticed that a bunch of people posted digital photos of "comfort objects". Be mindful that an awful lot of data, incl. precise location data, are embedded in digital photos. People might consider deleting them, esp. if they have else where posted questions of obtaining such and such, etc.
Section 230 will protect this site. Twitter and facebook would be bankrupt if they could be sued by content their users leave there.
E: I checked the lawyer's (Who was suing this site case).
She is suing Grindr (one gay man was sending 100s of men on his exs house) and Snapchat (child abuse) as well.

There are better ways to convey your points other than personal attacks. Painting yourself in the "higher ground" doesn't help the other person understand your points.
Making broad generalizations of a group by labeling them as nothing more than "true angsty teens" is ironically black and white in itself. Adolescence doesn't mean immaturity and angst. Anyone can be angsty at any age and they may have a reason to be angsty. It is a well known fact that teen suicides are one the rise.
Most of the people here on this forum aren't just bitter for the sake of it. It's our life experiences that drive us to the point of searching up this site in the first place. Expression of anger and sadness aren't signs of emotional immaturity, invaildation of feelings only lead to more hurt.
This forum is a safe place for many, you will obviously atain backlash for opinions that aren't common here, but prevalent elsewhere. When you go into a place with people who have experienced ostracization by society, don't expect them to agree with your opposing views. There are many other sites that hold your view point, you will probably get more support there. Otherwise I recomend against expressing controversial opinions if you aren't able to refrain from attacking and insults to get your point across.
