Many posts don't get replies. When I started posting here I was sad that some things didn't get replies, but when re-reading them, much of everything had already been said. If someone reacts to your post, then it's pretty much a reply on its own. Some posts such as life stories or vents won't get replies, but people will still read them. I don't reply to a lot of posts here even though I read them, most of the time I don't know what to say.
In regards to your story post, people did read it, they just didn't know what to say. Most of the time people around here aren't going to give a reply, because most of them already relate and have also given up, either logically or emotionally. It's a suicide forum, (most) people here aren't looking to get 'better' or have any advice on getting better. If it worked for them they probably wouldn't be here. Whereas if it was posted on a 'normal' forum or social profile it may get tons of replies from people who don't understand suicidal or haven't been in that situation before offering platitudes and whatnot. Whether people are purposefully ignoring you or just don't know what to say, the outcome is usually no replies, which does hurt sometimes. I don't know much else, except telling myself 'it is what it is'.

This forum is huge sourse of information. Maybe biggest in internet. There is structured methods, advices, stories. All you need it's just read and search :)
I have answers about all my questions before i registered.

Seconding this opinion, asking for information is good after you put together a total method. I've been binging the forums looking for information, reading successful and failed attempt, and just reading lots of goodbye threads and watching what little livestreams there are. Even the livestreams where something goes wrong, because it's good to expect everything in advance.

Try to keep it short. I find that some members post big walls of text and that's fine (especially if it's more to get something off your chest rather than engagement) but most people just aren't going to spend time reading paragraphs imo.

Regarding your recent post about SN. Some people don't feel comfortable responding to posts like that and what you asked can be found easily without having other members tell you.

There's alot of long time users on here some of whom will build groups and only really engage in their friends post. If youre new or people dont like what u write then theres a good chance they won't read your post or just skim over it and move on.

Looks like you got some replies. In fact only 1 of your 6 posts didn't get a reply. Since this is a busy site, its possible it got buried without being seen. Most people aren't here 24/7. I certainly am not, as I use this site discreetly.

I see that you've previously asked where to get SN. Sources won't be provided here. This site and it's administration takes enough heat, and there are lurkers that would cause much more trouble if the site provided that info.

You then created another post saying you had SN (congrats its not easy for everyone to source) but needed more instructions. Those instructions were provided..

You also asked info about jumping, which received replies.

What exactly are you looking for? I'd suggest at least looking at the stickied posts as they already contain the answers you've asked for. Members will generally chime in if you have questions but you should make an effort.

Sorry that you're having a rough time. But so is everyone else here. Despite this, we still try to help each other out.

This forum its full of importants info, storys, instructions, you just need to search. And its good for u to know that not everyone its 24/7 free, we have jobs, family and cant focus on just this all the time. Its not useless, maybe just not what u expected or wanted.

Absolutely! Such disgusting answers…somehow i feel like some users on sasu literally organized themselves a party place to chat and having a great time and thats so weird considering the fact that this forum is a suicide forum. I also thought people might help each other here but no its mostly lets find other suicidal ones and play some games together

I mean, it isn't like people were piling onto the OP in the other threads... apparently most of them were getting responses... but the OP wasn't getting the desired responses and appears to have lashed out.

Again, people could be kinder... or perhaps just ignored this lashing-out thread... but, it kind of feels like the OP was poking the bear for attention and some of the bears came out to play. I don't necessarily condone it, but it's hard to be surprised. This is a forum of depressed people and someone new on here just called all of them useless and unhelpful after being around for a couple of days.

Thats exactly the point. Op might have cognitive issues, dementia, who knows what. Yes it needs to be made clear that certain replies cant be answered- from a way of compassion knowing the other person is in pain enough to seek out ways to kill themselves.
But yes I agree with your statement.
