• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I have a degree in mathematics and statistics and have read the work thoroughly. The analysis is robust and without the actual data used on-hand to be validated, appears to be congruent with generally accepted best practices in statistical numerical modeling.

It was certainly an interesting read. It would be appreciated that the author(s) of the publication were careful to not make any any subjective arguments on the topic of suicide itself or opine on form in a negative light. The tone and writing remained overall neutral, objective and disinterested for the most part, with the exception of a few mentions of "pro-suicide" in lieu of "pro-choice." Pro-choice would have been the most appropriate term for consistency.

Overall, the takeaway is nothing to write home about unless you're in a field of numerical modeling or data science.
