• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

When I do end it in 30-40 years or so will my therapist lose their license if I made no mention of suicidal ideation or thoughts and only talked about my self harm I might feel a bit bad cause I am good at finding good therapists for me

No , it's not as close of a relationship as you'd think, they are only there to guide you and yada yada, basically unless they encouraged you, nothing will happen to them

I think that depends on if your therapist did their job correctly. If they had a good reason to believe that you were gonna do it and they didnt took measures to prevent you, then maybe they could lose their license. If they went by the book, then theyre gonna be fine.

No? If you never even mentioned it, how are they supposed to know to act on it?

No, absolutely not. They can't save everyone. Nobody would go into the profession if they had that hanging over their heads.

Probably most therapists have had at least one of their patients commit suicide.

I never thought about this before. Thanks for this thread... A few months ago I talked in therapy about suicidal thoughts but I would NEVER want my therapist get into trouble if I ctb.

I don't think it works that way. It's just a job. And therapists have various training protocols, which they all follow. Not something for you to worry about.
