An update on the OFCOM situation: As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. OFCOM, the UK’s communications regulator, has singled out our community, demanding compliance with their Online Safety Act despite our minimal UK presence. This is a blatant overreach, and they have been sending letters pressuring us to comply with their censorship agenda.
Our platform is already blocked by many UK ISPs, yet they continue their attempts to stifle free speech. Standing up to this kind of regulatory overreach requires lots of resources to maintain our infrastructure and fight back against these unjust demands. If you value our community and want to support us during this time, we would greatly appreciate any and all donations.
i'm wondering whether or not it'd be a dickhead move to ask my friend who her dealer was after not talking to her for like a month. but at the same time, i'm going to die in a little over two months, so who cares?
when it comes to health matters (self medication also) there is no dickhead moves imo..
people that are offended by those things dont understand the 'its not personal' unwritten rule..

Ello lounge. Geese keep attacking me and I think my fridge freezer is broken
In more positive news... on my walk today to collect leaves in the woods (what a sexy life I lead!), a little dog ran to me like I was along lost friend. This actually happens to me a lot. His owner stood there bemused, smiling, whilst I fussed over him. He sat down with me and didn't want to leave - I had to tell him to go, bless him.
On the way back I chanced to meet a neighbour who has cultivated her part of her back alley, similar to me. I gave her a compliment on it and she deduced that I was the person who had adopted the spare land out the back of my house. We exchanged compliments and notes. And her dog came out and wanted to say hi, he was friendly too.
I have concluded that henceforth, I shall measure the people I wish to interact with by the attitude of their dogs.

Could be. I was also taught the kusarigama, naginata, manrikiguasari, tonfa and three sectioned staff (that was bitch and a half). My brother taught me the kata, though ofc there is a huge difference between that and actually fighting with the weapons. It was like a dance to me, I'd not have clue how to actually fight with them.

A Kata is definitely like a rehearsed dance of different moves. Some of them incorporate weapons and some don't. It's supposed to teach you to counter imaginary opponents from different directions and stances.
I was really into American mixed martial arts growing up. I participated in it for about 14 years and even did a few state tournaments.
I have a lifetime membership and have considered going back. I just dunno if I want to make that kind of long term commitment to it right now.

So I have to call the courthouse or whoever about my expired state inspection by Tuesday and idk what to even say. I don't want to not call though and get in trouble. Dammit I hate my articulation issues. Why can't a meteor hit me?

Maybe when you call them, you could just say why you are calling and tell them you're not sure what to do next. If you can get the people at the courthouse to do most of the talking, then it might be easier. I don't really know much about these kind of things, so I would probably have a hard time too, mainly from anxiety more than anything else.
I know @Brick In The Wall has a bunch of meteors stashed somewhere, but hopefully you won't need one on Tuesday.

I think that martial arts are an excellent form of therapy and potentially can be a road to recovery. If I would have had the opportunity to practice every day, I believe I would have been considerably less suicidal, perhaps not suicidal at all even.

I'm talented at literally dozens of hobbies and sports but it hasn't stopped me from finding my way here. I think for some people it would definitely make a difference though.
I've been going through some phases this past week and haven't been as active as normal. I'm still here though, I apologize if anyone needed me and I was predisposed at the time.
