As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.
I'm one part psycho and two parts Intellectual. With the current rise of intellectualism I feel like I need to be the balance here. A major reason why I miss @one4all as much as I do.

I literally dare not comment on this photo. I get all paranoid that the KGB will come back from the dead and show up at my door the moment I press "Post Reply".
Couple of days ago. @Iloveyouall made me do it. Said my potato looked Lovecraftian. I recoloured him to make him more potato coloured but it's not easy turning a cuddly Great Old One into a potato. Maybe I need to do more work on him.
To be honest this looks like an of octopus had sex with a starfish .
You were a nice sweet potato , turned to fungi , and now this chihuahua image you have . You have deviated from The Lord Tuber our Savior, and betrayed the Gospels of Starch . You are not welcomed in our Church of the Rising French Fries . Damned you .
(If only I had the energy to do that 'shame' with a potato face)
May you be cursed with the burning light of 1000 potatoes brothers soul !!!

The first thing that I came to my mind after reading this is how many arms should this hybrid creature have. Maybe (8+5)/2 = 6.5 arms. Or 6 arms + an appendix.
@Underscore That Cthulhu in your avatar looks like an elephanoctosquid, aka, a twat.
But who cares what the noun is, only the adjective matters and that is CUTE.

You and me both... the general topics of this thread change at an impossibly high pace.
Also, if the bar's still open, I'd like a triple Jack Daniels, with two cubes of ice. If the rest of today goes as badly as the last hour, I'm going to need it.

Thank you for the translation! I haven't read poems by Hesse, only his prose. I've always associated his books with specific periods of my life: Narcissus and Goldmund is my teenage life, Siddhartha is my 20s and Steppenwolf my 30s. Now, I am in the Game with the Pearl Beads.
I will definitely read his poetry as well! I adore him.
Well I'm not big on poetry, my taste seems to be very coarse. Most of Rilke goes right over my head. But then again, some I have a deep appreciation for.
Hesse was a great stylist in my opinion. He isn't very deep, but his prose is enchanting and has something dream like to it – his novels are a mix of poetry and prose. But if you've read one Hesse novel, you have read them all.
Another good one is "Steps" – if you haven't read that yet – and some of his essays are great as well.
So you don't speak German? somehow I got the idea in my head that you were German.
