Granted i haven't read all the posts here recently. Due to a certain reason. Shit was heated up here so i may have glazed over yours. My apologizes.
I'm still pretty sure i've never seen the gif with a potato shit french fries before. That type of "SHIT" gets burned into the mind.

Particle effects can be a pain with certain software. I've never used GoDot personally but I've seen a few decent projects come of it.

I started on GameMaker Studio then moved to Unity and Unreal. I prefer to work in Unity but some projects are best made in Unreal.

And I started with Unity, dabbled in a very tiny bit of Unreal and finally settled on Godot. I guess that's mainly because the code is Pythonic. I've mostly worked with Python, since I've mostly been a ML guy before this.
Godot has been more fun to work with, but the lack of some simple stuff in the 2D engine is frustrating. Like directional lights, which are only available in 3D.

just to also reiterate, we also have a user discussion megathread for a reason. a place to post speculative information about a users inactivity and memorable posts about users. (e.g., where is X, has anyone heard of Y, etc.) we encourage this discussion to STAY in the users discussion megathread and not pollute and take place in other parts of the forum. it isn't fair to other users and members of the forum, in being forced to participate and dragged into such discussions; especially in a megathread like this, where there's all sorts of discussions happening, all at once.

lastly, as stated, any specific discussion that consists of specifics and reasoning about why a user has been banned will result in a user being warned significantly. this also includes the discussion about Jean's ban; even if it's a member defending the decision to ban a user, ANY DISCUSSION will be warned, period. and if you see and witness discussion and posts being made about specifics and reasoning and further discussion as a whole about this specific issue being discussed publicly on the forum, PLEASE REPORT THE DISCUSSION AND ITS POSTS OR CONTACT A MOD IMMEDIATELY. Don't further respond and escalate the discussion and make it worse, as you'll also be warned for contributing and prolonging the discussion by simply responding.

we really don't wanna start closing threads, including this. there's a reason why i keep continously choose to emphasize the issue through these last two statements, as some sort of unofficial warning and hoping this stops. this is the LAST TIME a statements going to be made. and i really do hope this time around, that people understand, instead of completely overlooking WHY its being made.
