I've given up with Google but I'm on android so it's infested my life. Won't use the browser though Opera is Chromium. Defo won't use the search engine. Too many dodgy redirects. Can't do without YouTube!

I have Mint on my laptop. Never ceases to amaze me how easy it is to install and update compared to Windoze. Never ceased to amaze my sister how I could boot to a USB and bypass her Windows password.

It almost sounded like a white pizza.. that's why i asked.

Well, I'm using Chrome as well. I've given up on my current laptop since I'm about to trash it anyway. I was using Ubuntu on my office Thinkpad during my internship... that was a rough experience due to the laptop itself. The browser of choice at that point was Firefox.
I'd still prefer Windows since a bunch of games I like aren't compatible with Unix-style systems. I might end up dual-booting whatever I buy to replace my trashy laptop.
Well, time to go back and finish my creative writing assignment. Which is, ironically, about people killing themselves.

...Even though I'm just lurking in the corner and quietly listening to you guys. So it really does feel like my experience with social gatherings!
I once had a creative writing assignment for an English class, I wrote about a kid killing himself and got a B- woo!
Also, install Gentoo
It's hard to get away from Windows if you use certain software or want to game. I used to use Ubuntu, but I found Mint to be a much nicer experience. Dual booting is an excellent idea, though ofc you then need to keep two OS up to date which is annoying.

I hate my Crypto lectures. It's like a bullet train hurtling past all the stations, and you barely get a look at any of the important topics he's covering. Not to mention that this teacher's approach to CS style theoretical math hurts my head these days.
Well, it's actually about coming up with the framework for a story in 3 different genres - drama, comedy and fantasy.
That's a great way to learn. But I'd want to write just the one story using all three genres at once. The idea that they can be separate doesn't appeal to me (though ofc I recognise that you have to do it for the course).
