It's very strange.
I mean, they wouldn't try to keep suffering animals alive at all costs.
If animals were able to ctb (and there is actually some evidence to suggest they can in certain situations), I'm sure these same people would consider it barbaric to keep them alive against their will.

Well, what's off is that the police said you'd been on this site, that was the whole reason for them showing up. If your parents are on high alert as you say, then the computer would be a huge alert magnet.

If they don't think it's an immediate risk, then they're not in high alert. That's what's off.

This feels like trolling so you can get your jollies over how you've provoked people to react, whether freaking out or offering compassion.

It sounds like dissociation to me. I totally get thinking different things at different times, and I think that thinking one thing might be responsible for something and denying that possibility later are to me very dissociative.

They're the reason why we're blocked by many ISPs in Australia.

We ignored their emails and requests for information multiple times and they must have just gotten pissed off over the years.

I'm sorry that they somehow tracked and visited you. That must have been a terrifying experience. If you've gotten SN shipped to your house, they may visit you. I believe another member got visited by police and they're in Australia as well, but I can't recall 100%.

hey your overthinking things, probably someone found your phone and was worried for you, or maybe they intercepted the SN and they investigated
btw without any info on you, anyone can find you IP address with from anything, a single post on here is enough, I took Network Security classes it's very easy and with IP I can find where you live which gives me you name and address, phone number anything I want basically, personally I always use a VPN.

It was the normal state police, not the AFP luckily. I feel like that would have been a completely different situation if they were involved.

I actually already have managed to get SN from a local seller, but I also have another order I'd placed earlier still on its way from Russia. Really hoping that just quietly slips through customs or this could get really bad.

I don't think so, no. I've never told anybody here or on the website anything more than my first name and the city I live in

Possibly, my SN apparently left Russia over a month ago but there hasn't been any further updates so I took a chance and ordered from a local supplier by lying to them about ordering for a fake company.

But that wouldn't explain them also knowing about me planning for the 31st.

Marquis wrote the message about information being taken from pictures. Both OP and another who complained about police visits in the last few weeks posted pics. That is likely the source.

I find it odd that OP keeps advertising suicide dates and delving deeper into personal info considering the police visit. Its reckless and could be seen as attention-seeking behavior. The behavior is well inline with the "snarky" avatar posted however. I just dont see any point to continue theorizing and discussing it when OP is partaking in perpetuating the issue.

I should probably even delete my profile picture since it can be directly linked to the bridge in my town.
There are undercover spies from NHS on this site that called a wellness check on one guy a month or two before.
When using sites hosted in my country, support groups for example, I got the cops called too when I wasnt careful with my words.
Never fully trust anyone, thats what my paranoia taught me.

And why reveal so much info? I never set a date, and Im definitely not going to alert anyone when Im doing it, or tell them where Im doing it. The support I get here is enough, Im not into exhibitionism and I prefer as many people out of my suicide as possible.

It's awesome in a thread to warn others to be careful, more and more info is given of a personal nature.
That sentence alone is excellent. How would they know that fact? It's supposed to be a secret.

This seems like BS to me. There is no way they could find you just based on your first name and city. More details must have been disclosed to someone in the chat, or someone with access to your computer looked up your web history and saw the details from posts.

I mean theoretically an ISP could disclose your contact info to the police based on IP address, but they would obviously not have any of the details of plan as all the traffic to the site is encrypted.

People on here should probably be using a VPN to be safe though.

Isn't the connection between the user and website server. How can someone else find out ??

Every website records in a log every IP address that visits it. How they would pick out a particular IP address to go with a particular post is the question. It's possible there might be a way. Remember, these are all computers. They record everything. The webmaster has access to all logs of the site and maybe some other people do too. I really have a hard time believing any of this was connected to this site. Someone had to have been told, someone the person knew.

I don't think anyone can (apart from the web server) . The website server logs IP , It can't be accesed by other people.

Because as I've said multiple times, I don't think it was someone from SS. I'm 90% sure I know who it was now, and they're not someone I know through here.

Just wanted to add to this that after the person responsible for this made another attempt to "save" me, I now know where they are (west coast of USA judging by timezone) and can also say for certain that they are NOT from SS. They had screenshots of posts I made on another website, I guess I was too careless with personal information there and they were able to find my instagram and made contact with people who follow me on there.

I've now changed my instagram handle and privated everything, and changed my ctb plans.
