Yea there is still a huge divide. It's rather interesting, just because there is "lounge" in the title. Both threads are inherently the same at heart.
The lounge seems to have been declared "superior" by being a sticky, though. At least that's how I see it. I think that's a big thing that lead to the Sink's demise.
That, and... a thing that is not allowed to be said, apparently.
I mean, I get the gist of why this kind of things are not to be discussed, but I don't understand what happened still.

So many people have been writing some huge thesis and philosophy nowadays. Like it legitimizes their point of contention. It's especially amusing to me when the question only warrants a quick but targeted answer.

Agreed more is not better. Many people online have mastered the art of rambling (I do it myself tbh) and use it as if a really long point structured like a philosophy essay is stronger than that same point in 1 short paragraph.

Yeah, it's cool if you've written a lot because it's full of insightful points and lots of information in a situation where people clearly wanted a detailed response, but some people are really out here writing their entire thesis filled with fluff in a single post online in response to a 2 sentence comment.
I do both too. Some posts I have to admit I've given up on though for fear of going to sleep.

I am panicking! I finally pulled myself together just enough to start putting together income tax forms for myself and my dead father. I also have to fill out an income affidavit for the housing development. It uses info from the tax forms, which is why it comes last. Now I see that I had only 120 days to report his death and apply for succession rights! It's two months past that! If they say I must leave, I'll be CTB'ing in a hurry! I had thought I'd be able to wait until covid lifted and I could do something pleasant for myself, such as ride the amusements, before CTB.
It's after 6PM here, so I can't even phone anyone to see if there's an extension on that deadline just as there is an extension on filing taxes. Now I have to spend the night fretting about a phone call I'll have to make in the morning.

I think I have a reprieve. I am so discombobulated I don't trust my reading comprehension, so I will try to post an image of the email I received.

I had a wild dream lastnight. I was being evicted and I gathered together a bunch of people I miss to spend my last day with me.
They didn't know it yet but I was basically saying goodbye to everyone. After spending some time together I told them I had to go. I left and went somewhere secluded then started eating SN straight out of the bottle.
I've had SN related dreams before but they were kinda intense and scary. This one was calming and I actually enjoyed the way it tasted.
I've got to stop spending so much time in my head

I'm trying to get my physical health in a little better shape, and hope that will help my mental health. I just found out that my MMJ registration expired, so I contacted the pain management specialist. His staff said he'll get on it, and I should hear back from them when he puts the renewal through.
