If you cut 10 strips of gorilla or duct tape (or more) a little larger than the diameter of your neck after first taping the cornhole bags at the proper locations on your neck you can incrementally (with comfort) increase the pressure with the application of each strip of tape around your neck.

If you intend to practice first, be careful to not do end up dead as you will have no way of removing the tape while you are passing out. You might need someone present with you to remove the tape if you do pass out.

Edit: If your helper fails to remove the tape in time s/he will probably be charged with murder of some degree. Just something to consider before attempting to carry out this plan.

Good idea. I personally, will in no way could convince anyone to help with this.

Hello, I've been interested in this method for a while, but what concerns me is the lack of precedents, e.g. any case reports, media reports or confirmed successes with a ratchet strap. Does anyone know of anything?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but seems that @BurningLights was planning to use it, choosing between PS and NN in favor of the latter.

You might want to think about and practice not pinching your skin into the ratchet mechanism, if you do manage to do that, SI will kick in in a hurry.

I've been having trouble finding a method that will suite me but I believe I just found it. I can't thank you enough for posting this. Now I'll have an easy way out when I'm finally prepared to leave which will be a few weeks at most.

Just a question. How likely is it for me to get caught if I do this at a hotel?

Very unlikely. I've done this before at various hotels. I've never been questioned or told i couldn't go back to that hotel.

I bet people said the exact same damn thing about every single other method as well. Let's go ring up some dead members to see if it worked out for them.

Complete fucking ignorance like that is ridiculous and you should be ashamed of yourself.

I have a stupid question, but my IQ is low and I can't figure this stuff out. I'm so clueless about tree ratchets, I never even heard of one until I found this post. Did I get the right kind? I got the only kind I found at the store, but none of the tutorials I found online for putting a tree ratchet together showed one that was like mine. If this is the right kind, how the heck do I put this thing together? The parts aren't attached, I've spent weeks trying to figure out how to attach. I wanted to ctb a long time ago but I cannot figure this tree ratchet out at all. Sorry if this is the wrong place for this, I've tried everywhere and haven't gotten any answers. The other methods of compressing the carotid arteries I've read on here haven't worked for me either, for that matter I still can't find my carotid arteries. Once I think I've found them it turns out I just found my jugular veins again.

Is there anything such as a pill on overdose that will kill me long term but not wake me up if I pass out in case I do the method wrong? I don't want to wake up as a vegetable.

How did you get to work?
Bought the beanbags that was recommended, looked up how ratchet straps generally worked, duct taped the beanbags on my "noose" where I know my carotids would be affected, and basically it's just lying down and slowly cranking it til you know you're going to pass out. Even just pressing the bags against my "sweet spots" makes me lightheaded, so once I get in the right position and make it so it's impossible for the ratchet to loosen up (again, duct tape fixes everything), then there's basically no going back.

I'm just constantly thinking if I want to ctb rn but having it there as an option is calming weirdly enough.

Thanks. I'll give this another go. I think i know where i went wrong or at least where i can improve.

You bought the same size bean bags that were recommended?

Yup. I bought the same ratchet straps too but my mom found them and confiscated them until I found out my stepdad had a bunch due to his trucker days.

Maybe you should buy a ratchet without hooks on. I found one in an online music store.

And your carotide arteries are on the front of your neck, just under the chin and beside your windpipe.

https://study.com/academy/lesson/external-carotid-artery-anatomy-branches.html

Edit: I ment in a music instrument webbshop, they use them to transport violins and pianos.

I forgot to mention too that my straps had hooks on them, but I ended up cutting it off. I mentioned duct tape again cause if I wanted to I could just halfassedly tape it back on just so the strap can't get undone suddenly.

I'm gonna get a hotel. Don't want any chance of someone coming home.

I'm glad this method is so cheap. Everything cost less than 20 bucks.

How will you spend your last day btw?
