Help Testing partial hanging and questions

The wiki page confused me too with regards to rope placement. I believe(!) that it's talking about partial hanging there and that full suspension profits from a higher placement. Full suspension compresses the neck a lot more and avoiding the wind pipe is therefore important so as to avoid pain. Partial, on the other hand, uses a lot less pressure and therefore it's important to optimize pressure on the arteries.
That's just my interpretation after having read a bunch but without having done any testing so far.
Oh and suicide by cop is listed in the non-methods megathread. If you're not black and/or not in the US, I think you can forget this method lol.

Are you saying the wiki is saying to put the rope low for full self hang to not hurt the wind pipe but high for partial? I tried high and low for partial and couldn't get the passing out feeling in either and I feel like I did heavy pressure since I got the blood in my head feeling

I'm saying the opposite: the wiki entry seems to be recommending low for partial but doesn't make it explicit that it's for partial.

I saw someone on here make the distinction.

But again, since the wiki entry is not detailed enough, it's hard to say why they recommended this.
