I've been hopping on and off the rope for like 20 minutes now and Everytime I feel like I might be getting close I get the urge to breath and idk if that's normal or I'm doing something wrong? I have two socks on either side of my neck in an attempt to make me pass out faster but it's not working and my vision isn't even fading, all that I'm hearing is blood in my ears and that head exploding sensation. is this normal or am I messing it up somewhere😭
I'm also kinda struggling to find the courage to let go of the bed and hang there is there a way to get rid of that or help it in any way? I know it's kinda inevitable but maybe y'all know smt I dont

sorry sorry ,,,, this is what I'm working with , i have a room in my house with a bunk bed so I'm just using that and some craft rope I found at the store , it's sturdy I looped it around a tree and tried to climb up it and it didn't break so I'm not worried about that 1000009671

The head exploding feeling comes from your compressing your jugular veins but not your carotid arteries. Blood is getting backed up in your head and causing pressure.

Try moving your socks to a different position. Try it without them. Everyone's anatomy is different so you have to figure out what works for you. I just wrapped a washcloth around the rope for padding and did not bother with the socks. Passed out after 20-ish seconds, no pain.

try different positions for the rope and try different materials if you can or cover the rope itself with a towel, I tried with a rope a bunch of times and it didn't work when I switched to a towel I got it right in 2 tries

oh wow yeah i never could do it with my hands before but i also saw somewhere to move your head down and to the front a little and my vision started going black almost instantly when i did it and didnt feel the head exploding thing. partial suspension might be better than i thought.
