Hi I guess. A while back my cousin tried to kill me, he was drunk. He came into me room and pushed me, then I grabbed something to hit him back. He pinned me in the corner and tried to choke me and gave me numerous punches to the head. I would have not made it out had it not been for my parents who removed him. After it happened I didn't think much of what occurred as I hadn't yet processed the trauma, kept trying to minimize the magnitude of the situation but today it finally bubbled out. So he usually comes to this house, makes a mess in the kitchen, then leaves. I am the one who cleans after this 27 year old man and today I finally told him to clean after himself so he threatened me, I called his mom and my aunt but they said I should just let him be and should forgive him. These people are of course evangelical christian, if this happened to their children they wouldn't be saying what they said to me. So today I tied a noose with my graduation sash which was fitting because no one showed up and the one who did (my mom) didn't want to be there to begin with. I'm thinking about doing it right now as I already have everything setup, fucking hate this life

Call the cops next time. Record if you can. Your violent ass cousin needs to be in jail. I promise he wouldn't be so violent with dudes his own size who are just as insane as he is if not more.
My aunt tried to paint him as "humble" because he fixes somethings around here rarely but it usually gets broken again a few months later (I live with my grandmother since she lives alone). These evangelicals make me sick; I just saw her purchase a new $800 tv for her room(her old one is fine) but doesn't even bother getting someone to properly fix stuff for her own mother.Honestly, agreeing with starboy2k here, your cousin should be in jail.Similar threads
