when I was 18 I joined the navy, for reasons I wont go into now I was stuck on an air-force base.
I was depressed and board out of my mind. As soon a Friday's work was wrapped up I'd grab my empty 2 liter camelback, full it with 101 proof peppermint schnapps ice 101, and walk around town, the river walk most times (San Antonio TX).

- Not fighting back early on against bullies because of the stupid "Turn your other cheek" virtue in Christianity. (and for that matter, believing in it to begin with and letting it reduce my quality of life back then)

- Trying to buy drugs that just aren't available in my area, and getting scammed due to it. (I wanted to experience those altered states so badly,I really have to move if I want a chance at that goal)

- Getting involved and infatuated with a compulsive lying and meth addicted woman,I got into contact with her so I could give meth a go myself. (She wasn't the prettiest but she was indeed pretty, she didn't at all look like the stereotypical meth-head.)
Thankful I didn't lose too much during my involvement with her(I refused every time she asked to borrow cash. That,or I asked for sexual favors in exchange for my cash),and even got a few benefits out of it(It was my first time getting to satisfy my fetish, and I got to try meth 3 times),so I don't necessarily regret this, but if I had to do it all over again,I wouldn't go for it.

NOTE: When I say she wasn't the prettiest,I meant that in the objective sense. I still have the hots for her to this today. Fortunately,I was able to get a few...*nice* photos of her that cater to my fetish, which I regularly use. They are the reason I don't succumb to the temptation of trying to meet up with her again. (Ok...is that TMI? lol)

there's probably more, but those are at the top of my head for now.

May I ask what spurred such a decision? did you hate your well-paying job? I'm just curious.

i think i was afraid to learn something new and i didn't think i could ever go to college if i worked there even though they offered 100% tuition reimbursement - something i didnt appreciate until now. it was just being afraid and dumb i think.

ahh yeah i got some more valium my psych took my script away so i had to get it off the tor markets lol
May I ask if you're experienced with the dark net? I may ask for tips navigating it at a much later point in time. (Not anytime soon. My current PC just can't seem to run TOR for some damn reason. Once I graduate and have a job,I may buy myself a new and higher quality computer and that'll probably when that option will be available to me.)

As far as I know, the good quality VPN's are almost never free. My dad attempted to incorporate a free VPN into our computers in the past, but it caused more problems than it is worth.

I regret one thing I did when I was 17 and that was my career choice. If I had chosen wisely my problems would be a lot smaller now tbh
