Guys I need to know something more accurate, read the post and the posts you have written but I can't reach a conclusion, is it faster with SA? is it safer? Pain is not an ugly problem but I want it to be one hundred percent safe.

Hiya, I tried to order SA on Amazon one person has it with no restrictions but doesn't ship to Europe. Any advice would be grateful.

So I managed to get this substance, even though it's almost unavailable in the EU.

It's more brutal, no less lethal but also slower than cyanide. I'm not exactly relishing the thought, but with proper preparation/antiemetics it's 100 % lethal. Or at least very close to 100 %.
I checked Nitschke's PPEH October edition. The ratings seem wrong. It doesn't seem peaceful in any way, it's easy to prepare. Speed ? For speed, he rates it as better than SN. I doubt that.

Anyway, at the risk of being repetitive I repeat the question in #71 'Could any members of the EXIT forums confront Dr. Nitschke with those concerns and post back? Would be much appreciated.'

Could I please suggest the following points as useful additions to both the SN and SA Megathreads, to be done by the mods and/or OPs?

1. Ensure that each glass of mixture you prepare is clearly labelled 'Poison' and that you also place a large sign next to them also clearly explaining that they are poison. You don't want someone else to later inadvertently drink the mixture, or even reuse the empty glass containing trace but still significant amounts of mixture. These smaller amounts can be especially harmful to children or pets.
   
   
2. Ensure that the container you have on hand for vomiting is also clearly marked as 'Poison'. Bear in mind that pets will often examine or consume human vomit, both generally out of curiosity and specifically if left behind after suicide and becoming increasingly hungry. Trace amounts of the mixture in your vomit can be harmful or even fatal to pets. Ideally, complete this method with your pets locked securely out of the room, and with a warning sign on the door not to let them into the room due to poison traces being present. With people rushing in to try and save you or discover your body, pets can be ignored during the crisis and you don't want them being placed at risk.
   
   
3. Ensure that your remaining supply of SN/SA is clearly marked as 'Poison' and to be disposed of safely by authorities, and stored in a safe place where children or anyone else cannot find it and consume it accidentally. You may even wish to dispose of the excess supply before you commit, although of course this will be inconvenient if you have a failure and then want to attempt again. Also bear in mind that friends or relatives who are shocked after your death may well be the ones to discover your supply, and you don't want them to impulsively consume it as part of their grief.

I found SA to difficult to get hold of so went for SN which was very easy to get and I was there for two people who ctb with SN and it did seem quite painless.

We know much more about SN, so I would stick to it anyway. There are plenty of other methods just in case SN is restricted in your country.

Reading this whole thread I personally came to the conclusion that SA is too unpredictable. Not a lot is known about it, can cause severe damage and you may still survive, can cause coma, may experience extreme pain before dying, hard to get and overall effectiveness seems worse than SN.

I don't see any reason to choose SA over SN. I think we need to know more before choosing this as a method, more research is needed, while SN has been discussed much more and multiple members passed away using it.

Because of its high toxicity and tendency to explode easily, Sodium azide is a hazardous substance. Here's a link to an article where an entire building was evacuated after someone used it to ctb. Something to consider:

you should take some other drugs before taking you SA, I was planning on using it but it's restricted in my country. Apparently yes it can cause fume but just having the windows open should be fine, from what i found. But something extremely important before drinking it, put a note very visible for people to not try to help you because you become toxic if someone comes to do mouth to mouth or even your vomit become dangerous too.

You probably should do more research into it if you not aware of this, to make sure you will ctb peacefully and people in your house will stay safe.

I have concerns about importing SA vs. SN.

SN is probably legal to import, buy and own wherever you are. I did some searching and found that in my country it's legal to import it up to a quantity of 1kg. And if customs officers intercept your package and are interested in knowing what you need it for, you can always say you just wanted to do some meat curing.

But with SA, I'm really worried about importing it. SInce it is so dangerous (toxic in very low quantities, becomes explosive in contact with metal) I am very worried that it is illegal to import (without some kind of license). Maybe in small quantities it's okay but I'm not even sure about that. In this case, if customs officials decide to check the contents of the package and they realize what it is, I have no excuse to give them. So I'm worried that I might get into serious trouble with the law (a huge fine, for example).

Did anyone here order SA (or even SN) from abroad and get into legal trouble because of it?

@Himalayan from research, there are a number of methods with SA.

I've also read that pretty much every case is fatal with a few exceptions.

Getting hold of the stuff is difficult.
