I've achieved this dubious status where if I say I'm suicidal, they immediately ask if I have my method and a plan with a date and time. If all of those things are not present, I can go free.
I hear you. A lot of professionals I've come across seem to think that chronic suicidality isn't real. Before I was discharged from the mental health service I was just told I was having a "blip". I feel like this everyday so it's hardly a blip is it
