Discussion suicide notes/will?

do you plan on writing them? will you post them publicly or send them to a specific someone? also what do you plan on writing in these notes? will you leave behind a video? will you record your ctb for anyone? are you going leave everyone in your life their own note? are you going to write a makeshift will or get an official one made?

for me will be writing notes to leave behind, im probably just going to send them to my ex boyfriend. im not sure what i want to write exactly yet. im thinking of like recording a suicide vlog lol of me setting up the stuff i need to commit and saying goodbye. i think writing everyone their own note would take sooo long and be very emotional. i dont have enough time to get an official will made but im thinking of leaving behind medical instructions in case i survive my initial attempt. saying stuff like dont keep me on life support, feel free to donate my organs and do not perform an autopsy on me. im hoping if i leave behind a video thoroughly explaining my method, no autopsy will be needed.

I saw your looking at my popular thread and wanted to make a couple of comments. Regardless of a million notes or just one, really think about who will need to hear words of comfort from you after your gone. "Its not your fault", "theres nothing you could have done", "i love you", etc. It goes along way to helping those closest to you.

Cheap, effective, and legal most places. A hand drawn will at or near the time of someone committing suicide is usually not accepted by the court because the person is post humously declared not of sound mind. I used this years ago to set up a trust llc that the federal government recognized. Took my dumbass 15 minutes.

As for an autopsy.....well your reading my thread now but most places will do one automatically. Can't be helped most of the time. You can check your local laws but I never even heard of somewhere in the US that didn't. Its hard to imagine but I've dealt with so much death and after someone's gone, they're gone. People want to fall back on decorum or "dignity" but honestly, the person gone is not going to care. What's left is just a heavy mass of jiggly stuff. Super crude but my attitude changed dramatically regarding it all after I dealt with it(and still deal with it).

I'm so sorry your here and what your going through. No matter what, never feel pressured to CTB and most important, its OK to change your mind. You have a community of wonderful people who have all the knowledge and help you could ever want if your so inclined (says the guy being anti social and who has turned his messages off). I just hope things change for you and you get what you need in life. Please please please don't hesitate to reach out to people on here, nearly all of them are super nice and not complete recluses like I've turned into. I've literally blind messaged like 20 people before and all were super nice. It can be to talk things out, either direction, but to just not be alone regardless.

personally, I'm going to write a note to everyone that's done something for or to me in my life. it'll take a long time. it might be hard. it'll also be mostly me finally telling people what I wanted to tell them, but couldn't. gone with the facade of life, in with the truth. I will make sure to try and bring people closure though, too. sometimes it hurts telling people not to worry about me because I know it'll just make it hurt more when they think that they actually could've done something for me. anyway, that's just what I'm going to do.
