i have read that paracetamol shouldnt be taken with meto. should you take ibuprofen instead?
If you're going to take Propranolol, paracetamol is recommended.
If not,Ibuprofen is fine. I don't recall any specific painkiller being endorsed for metoclopramide.
Do you remember where you read that?

Guys, I only have access to 500mg of Propranolol, should I even bother taking it with the SN, will it still have a supporting effect?
1mg is recommended, but I heard it's a massive overdose

Why wouldn't you? 500mg is still way over recommended doses. It helps with the tachycardia

Just to update this thread. It turns out @I want to end it had read something about meto and paracetamol being contraindicated on a listing for paracetamol on a certain website.
Personally,I'm not seeing why this is of concern in the context of ctb.
We know people here take paracetamol when they ctb with SN,even without prop.
The effect is listed as "minor" on drugs.com
However,I thought y'all may be interested.
Unless I'm mistaken, sounds like meto has a mildly potentiating effect on paracetamol, whereas,no interactions are reported with Ibuprofen, which is the popular choice.
Nothing to worry about imho

I know, but there are so many variables.
Individual pain tolerance level, physiology, state of nervousness, not following the protocol, taking half-assed sips on a whim, drug combinations...
I could speculate forever.

Personally,I'll grin and bear whatever unknown comes. The alternative is so much more intolerable.

I've not read through all of the anecdotes, but if I had to hazard some guesses, I'd say the majority of people with painful SN attempts probably had one or more of the following:
  1. Failed to follow the instructions regarding:
    1. Fasting (food)
    2. Fasting (liquids)
    3. Avoiding alcohol with attempt
    4. Correct amount of SN
    5. Correct timing of SN protocol steps
    6. Preparation and consumption of backup doses in case of vomiting
  2. Chose not to use any of the optional add-ons, namely:
    1. Antiemetic
    2. Propranolol
    3. Painkillers
    4. Benzos
    5. Antacid
  3. Had particular medical conditions which may have made SN a poor choice of method for them specifically:
    1. Feeding tubes or other alterations to normal input of food/liquid
    2. Acid reflux
    3. Impaired gastric emptying
    4. Gastric ulcers
    5. Reduced stomach size (gastric band, gastric sleeve etc.)
    6. Bowel or intestinal problems
  4. Were anxious about and/or unprepared for mild symptoms of discomfort, and so experienced these as subjectively more painful.
  5. Had generally high baseline levels of anxiety.
  6. Where description of pain is provided by another member who was observing the attempt, misunderstanding by the observer of various phenomena as pain.
I'm not a medical professional, so these are just some educated guesses.

I think I have mild and non-painful gastric/bowel issues, though I've been to several doctors and they didn't notice anything wrong. How would those types of issues affect SN? Is it just pain-related? Also, nyquil seems to take longer than normal to make me drowsy, so I can't help but wonder if meto and SN would take longer to work.

Pretty much The entire world has mild gastric issues .. Unless you have ulcers it's a non issue .
you've tested meto ..48 hr won't work for you .. only stat dose and 1 hour isn't going to be an issue ... unless you back out.

Since I seem to have a fast metabolism, does that mean the SN will kill me quicker?

what is the estimated lifespan of SN inside of the bottle it came in? Unopened and stored around 20c temperature.

Hey, all.

Sorry to ask, but can Duloxetine interact badly with antiemetics? I've searched drug combinations online and all of them seems to have at least moderate side effects.

Been a while since I posted and SN appeared easier to source back then. Anyone in UK having any luck finding SN?

Why doesn't wikipedia mention anything about the danger of SN?

I've seen somewhere here that someone posted a picture of their SN in a white box.
I guess t's like pure SN, with chemical symbol on the side of the box and all.
Anyone knows where to buy this SN?

If anyone has a trusted source on an antiemetic can you please pm me with a link thx. This seems to be the only thing I am having trouble obtaining. I have missed the bus twice and I'm afraid that if I try to go to my doctor for it I will be 1013 again in the hospital.
You can do a televisit over the phone. Some of them are just messaging, some require video chats. There are several apps out there to do this.

Probably because it's edited by laypeople,. and nobody has gotten around to doing so yet?

Could you be any less specific? Most SN (apart from the crappy ziplock bag places) comes in a white plastic tub with a screw top and labels/chemical symbols on the outside. It's pretty standard for chemical storage/shipping.

Also, it's not permitted by the rules to share the names of brands and sellers anyway.

People here talk about L. Does he have SN in these white boxes ?
Reason I ask is because one member got his in a crappy plastic bag. I don't want that.

Do you think it's okay to store SN in a closet in like a 30°C room?
