I'm sorry I keep replying and asking more questions. I am just really nervous. My eGFR levels came back 128. If my creatinine and eGFR levels are normal does that still mean I have renal failure? Thank you so much for giving me all this helpful information. Your kindness means a lot![]()
@tieiwi I agree with @Hercules, for the most part. I'd say if your eGFR is 128 it is very likely you don't have renal failure. I don't think it's possible for anyone on the internet to tell you definitively whether or not your kidneys are okay, but there is a good chance that you're fine! If any symptoms do come up again, please do let your doctor know about your history of SN ingestion. I emphasize the word "history" because if you say that in the past, you ingested SN, there's very little (if any) chance they will hold you for psychiatric reasons. Usually, people are held against their will when they're presently and imminently a risk to themselves. You don't have renal failure. A normal eGTF range for a younger person is between 90-130. Your kidneys are in excellent shape if yours is 128 and your creatine and bun levels are normal.
If you are worried about your kidneys, you really should be discussing this with your doctor instead of getting advice from random people on the internet. If you explain your concerns, your doctor can do blood work periodically and monitor your kidney function to make sure that your kidney function remains normal over time.
Also, please don't apologize. I feel bad for being overly concerned - just wanted to make sure you were getting care if there was something serious going on. Hope you're doing okay OP
