I really like the method sn even though my first choice has always been carbon monoxide, i like that you slip away peacefully and it is more researched and has more articles on it and it has been around for much longer but its much harder it seems like now so the closest thing I feel in peacefulness and easiness out all the methods seems like sn but im scared ever since reading on some of the members goodbye threads about how they were grasping for air and I'm worried that I will have a asthma attack during the sn attempt and if that happens I will not be able to handle it, it feels like your suffocating and I really don't want to go out like that, does any one have any advice on this, it would much appreciated

I've posted about this before and since I have asthma am probably not going to use SN. You need healthy breathing and stomach for SN ideally. It can trigger breathing problems in those who are prone to them.

That is not just my own opinion. I've done a lot of research.

Extra puffs of your rescue inhaler beforehand?
Do you think that would effect the sn or prolong time until unconsciousness and will the inhaler work with sn in me

Yeah it seems like this method is not the best for someone with asthma but I feel like if I use my inhaler maybe it will help?

I don't think an inhaled steroid will be an issue with the sn at all. Check your specific inhaler against sn on drugs.com :)

Edit: i realized sn might not be on drugs.com but worth a shot?

Yeah it doesn't seem like sn is in drug interactions but thanks for your help:)

I dont see any relationship between SN and asthma. Even an unrelated asthma attack maybe causes sooner unconsciousness
I'm assuming you've never had a near death asthma attack... :/
It's horrendous - feels like you're being choked and smothered to death.

The problem doesn't lie with the inhaler, it's the risk of the sn causing a huge asthma attack due to the effect on the lungs. An inhaler would be of no use.

Oh that sucks:(, so you think that inhaler won't stop the asthma attack caused by the sn?
I really had my hopes on sn but guess I need figure out a another way or take that risk
Thank you for your advice:)

Even if u be faced with an asthma attack, inhaler can fix that.
lol I doubt that very much. Throw panic into the mix and you'll have a full blown asthma attack which would require urgent treatment in hospital.
Have you had an asthma attack after taking SN?
No, I thought not!!
An asthma attack can be set off by an allergic reaction to the sn. Many people with asthma have allergies, and don't really know the extent of their allergies, until they ingest a product, THEN they know. It's not worth the risk.

I've a minor asthma. I use rarely inhaler. Sometime when I exercise hard in a cold weather I need to use inhaler. I know my body, there is not any risk for me to face with a sever asthma attack after using SN. I will go by SN, with or without asthma

I hope all goes well for you, if you rarely use your inhaler, you may be fine, but for someone who has severe asthma who takes numerous different inhalers every day and has been hospitalised due to their asthma, I would suggest that SN is not a suitable ctb method as they risk a very distressing death.

I suppose it depends on how well controlled your asthma is.. if you've never had an acute episode, you may be ok. If you're frequently needing emergency treatment for asthma attacks, perhaps not.

But as I said, a lot of people who have asthma, also have allergies to all kinds of weird things, so that's something to bear in mind as well.
Do you really need a healthy stomach? Do you just mean it will be more comfortable if you do?
If someone suffers with Gastritis for example, I don't think SN would be a good mix because the stomach is inflamed.

My whole life has been agony, I'll do my best to deal with any pain. My main concern is having some sort of stomach condition interfere with its effectiveness.
Do you have a stomach condition?

The only thing I've been diagnosed with is stomach polyps, which I think might imply Gastritis. Not in any pain, but basically have a bunch of smaller issues like no appetite, issues with gas, maybe acid, etc. Might even have Gastroparesis, really not sure.

The decision is yours, but do your research before you make that decision, because there's no going back once you've swallowed it. I wish you well.

I'm sorry you have to deal with the pain of smaller issues but their still a pain even if small and I agree with @x~Sophia~x, you should do all the research you can, so you are prepared for any problems you may face with having stomach polyps because I read that it can be more painful if you have stomach problems like a more inflamed stomach lining which what Gastritis is

Yes I think it depends on that too, I would say I'm in the middle where I have never needed to go to emergency room if I have my inhaler with me but I do have it pretty severe where I need it with me at all times because I don't know what triggers it sometimes if there is no reason like exercise or tree allergies
