Scam Alert: J from China (Nembutal)

You'd presume it's a scam and testing would be superfluous and pointless. If the scammer sent something it was probably some kind of inert powder. That has happened before that I know of, and that was back in 2016, someone had tried to buy something and it was just crystalised ascorbic acid that had been crushed into a fine powder and a bitterant had been added to give it the "authentic" taste...as if anyone would be fooled by that. To test a barbiturate, you simply weigh 100mg (a tenth of a gram, and for those who are not familiar with drug taking, one tenth of a gram is called "one point") on one of those really fine scales (they are pretty cheap and easily available) and take it. If within an hour you're not feeling anything then you would try 200mg, and if that didn't work within an hour, then you'd know it's bunk. Not advice on anything related to suicide but rather testing the potency of a drug. I enjoy downers, so I would always test it out before taking what I call irresponsibly high doses. I've done as much as 400mg of Nembutal...

I'm assuming he's getting it lab tested. Testing in the way you describe could have undesired results if it is something caustic.

Anyone ever heard any info about the testing? What about the source is it real? I heard some ppl got shipments but never confirmed if it was real or not.

It would be great if a simple barbiturates test was done just to see if any barbiturates were detected at all. Wouldn't give any information beyond this but it would be a start.
