Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you are at immediate risk of suicide you can call the Samaritan line for help, but do NOT force the responsibility and anxiety of having to deal with a life or death situation on other users, or you will be banned.
Assume no one here is a doctor, therapist, psychologist, or psychiatrist - even if a person says they are, there is no proof whatsoever they aren't lying.

There are many risks involved in trusting a stranger, including but not limited to being lied to, being used for personal gain, being given random or harmful information, differences between you two, blackmail, pranks, and many more. Be sure you truly understand the risks, even for something as simple as getting help from someone or helping someone. We only provide a place to get in touch with others who think like you, you take full responsibility for what happens next.
Once you find someone take the time to know each other. Define limits and what if's, see if the person is a good match and if you feel a connection. If someone is in a rush it's usually a bad signal.

I'm a depressed shut-in from Mumbai. I'm a queer, non-binary trans person and i'm on the spectrum. chronic depression and ocd are my primary struggles. i've attempted suicide once. I've checked out of society for nearly ten years at this point. i like yapping about tech and video games a lot. i love animals and spending time in nature. i'm addicted to pocari sweat.
My primary goal is to gradually reintegrate back into society, meet people and socialize in real life again. If you're a fellow south asian with the same goal, and you'd like to befriend someone you can hang out with in person at some point, feel free to message me. I can share my discord or join some other platform since I'm rarely active on this website.
Straight white guy, American. Catholic atheist. NEET, yes, you read the age right. Have worked in the past. Bipolar. In treatment. Very depressed for 9 months. Beginning to decide against CTB. First out of cowardice, but now there's a little spark of hope. Trying to grow it into a fire. Can't smother it, though.
Looking for a friendly person to talk to, any demographic really.
This is probably an impulse but I'm always up to talking to people ( ˃ᴗ˂)
20F, hispanic but living in Northern Europe, NEET with a long list of mental disorders (ADHD, autism, BPD, depression, anxiety) and recently went back to therapy. My depression has been pretty bad since the year started and I had to quit my job due to anxiety and burn out and I can't really make myself get back on it. Constantly talking about CTB but never actually a danger to myself somehow and I want to be better, I think.
Started following you because I saw your profile picture while listening to a song from that album after a really long time!! the coincidence freaked me out lol

That little spark can absolutely grow into a fire. Shoot me a PM if you want to talk, I was first here when I was like 34 a few years ago in a really terrible spot. It is possible to get out of it.
18M Brazilian, I'm suicidal for quite some time and somehow everyday gets worse. I can't really say I'm good at talking to ppl so sorry in advance. A little bit of my interests? Music, I really like it ( ≧▽≦ ), anime, manga, idk I doom scrolled too much and now I have no interests lmao. I hope I can be helpful and don't be scared to reach out! I don't bite! (o^▽^o)
Oh btw I prefer discord so just ask me and I'll send it.
I'm new here and just looking for someone to talk to. 28F, Canada, and I have a long history of depression/anxiety/self harm.
I would describe myself as high functioning since I have a career, I'm active in my community through volunteering, I am married and I have a few friends. But I really struggle with loneliness and yearning for connection, some days it feels debilitating.
I'm looking for someone that I can talk to openly and casually (e.g., once or twice a week). I would like to give and receive support depending on how well I'm doing, haha. As far as hobbies go, I really enjoy reading, video games, colouring, tv/anime.
Hi, 25F American trans woman diagnosed with depression, OCD, ADHD and BPD with a history of SI/SH. I've been in a variety of treatments (IOP, PHP, residential, ketamine, TMS, and am currently in a DBT program) with little to no success. It's only gotten worse :(
I was previously high functioning with a career in accounting until a romantic relationship with my best friend fell through. Since then I am unable to function close to the same degree.
My interests include resident evil and daredevil!! I guess my ultimate goal would be to find something worth living for, as I previously lived for my best friend. I'd love to chat with anyone, especially those with BPD and/or have gone through losing a favorite person ^_^
29M Germany
Struggling with depression for a while now, also going through a divorce. It's a challenging time for me. Looking for anyone who is willing to talk and likes to share experiences.
I do hope to get better or at least get to a manageable headspace - even if it's just for my kids.

Pretty social in my life, but I struggle to really talk about this with anyone really, even my ex, or friends. So just learning to communicate that side of things
Anyone is welcome to message me - open to any demographic
A strong command of English would probably help us understand each other clearly -- but kindness and openness matter most
I've also posted in the "Support Group Megathread" and posting here if anyone wants to talk in a more open forum

Hello
29 (Turn 30 soon). Male. Currently in Kazakhstan.
Suicidal for fifteen years or so. Never made an actual attempt (but was close to do it once, was persuaded not to).
A shut-in (have no social life outside of my work, but even there I just exist and barely communicate with colleagues), somewhat introverted and melancholic. Have a couple of IRL friends, but I am separated from them by thousands of kilometers.
In general, I am a nice person. Or at very least I do my best to be one.
SaSu is the only place where I can be fully open about my thoughts and feelings and I genuinely like people here. In my eyes it shows me that even if we can feel miserable, there's still something good about us.
I love music. Mostly 90's or early 2000's rock, metal and alternative. Lately got interested in EDM (Hardstyle, Breakcore, DnB, Jungle and stuff).
I love animals. But, unfortunately, don't keep any as pets. As I live alone, I can't have a job and take care of them simultaneously.
Enjoy some literature (historical fiction and sci-fi), games and long documentaries on YouTube (it's easier to fall asleep).
Will be glad to see anyone in my PMs. Sometimes I do not reply fast (different timezones, job etc.), but I will do my best to write back.
Looking for friends to talk to regularly, help me hold myself accountable and stay on top of routine for my goals:
-Learning new language
-Exercise
-Eating at regular intervals
-Proper sleep
-Studying
-Seeking better employment
-Deciding why the universe put me here
-Getting back in therapy/treatment
