• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

The primary goal of this thread is for south asian members of this forum to come together and find each other. The secondary goal, for those who are willing and comfortable, is to form a peer-driven support group local to your region.

It goes without saying, navigating severe mental and physical afflictions on our lonesome is really difficult. Even if one is getting professional help, the lack of a social support system outside the clinic hinders the recovery process a lot. Given that there's a dearth of such support groups being organized in our part of the world, I figured we should start somewhere.

So if you are interested in connecting with your fellow south asians at all, just comment where you are from and what you are seeking.
This could be anywhere from casual conversation, making friends, getting an accountability partner, to forming an online support group if you feel comfortable enough.
Given the public nature of this forum, please be mindful of maintaining your anonymity. Do not post personally identifiable information in this thread.

I'll start off, my name is Ace and I am from India. I suffer from TRD and OCD. I'd like to befriend fellow south asians who are dealing with similar deabilitating illnesses. The eventual goal is to form an online support group where we can speak freely about our lives and offer each other solidarity. More details about me in my Recovery Partners post. Feel free to comment if you'd like to get in touch.

Greetings, warrior. I would love to have a chat. Can you initiate a private conversation with me. I don't seem to have permissions to view your profile, so i cannot do the same on my end. Perhaps owning to my low account activity(?). Anyway, I can share my email if DMs are not possible for whatever reason. Cheers.

I tried to initiate a private conversation. As your profile is new, it's not showing that option. May be you'll have to interact with a lot of posts before that option gets activated for u.
Don't share email. It's risky. Let's try out anonymous apps like telegram or session.
