Why do people, when poisoned by CO, can't help themselves or go out in the room and shout for help?

thank you for answering. it's just im not really sure about it isn't painful, there are some that experience and survived said they have headaches, nausea etc. and some just sleep to death. i dont know where to believe it.I think that's because the person becomes unconscious quickly before they can do anything about it. It's kind of like falling asleep.
At the same time, however, the person doing it has suicidal intent and so even if they'd want to, they'll somewhat suppress the desire of not going through with it I guess. As I said, CO poisoning probably feels like falling asleep so even though you're aware of what's happening, it isn't painful or anything.

can i lit the charcoal like this?
ah i understand now, one thing really im concerned of is that what kind of charcoal will i use, is it lump or briquettes and is the charcoal here in asia works? and how to light correctly, I don't want to mess it around because its hard to do it especially in my bedroom where we just can hear each other's voices because it's made by wood.I would say it depends on how correctly the method is being implemented (like the amount of CO fumes and the room size) that determines whether someone passes out quickly or suffer some pain and adverse effects.
As for how to light the charcoal, I don't really know. I haven't tried this method for myself, because there are just too many smoke detectors/sprinklers where I live (that's something to be aware of as well). That said, I think anything that produces enough CO fumes relative to the room size should be enough. Could be charcoal on a barbeque, or even a motor that produces exhaust.
There is a different way you can produce carbon monoxide without charcoal. Mix formic acid with concentrated sulphuric acid and wash and cool the generated gas that way you get carbon monoxide with enough purity that can be lethal. Burning charcoal gives off impure gases that lowers the probability to succeed and the uncertainty of carbon monoxide concentration makes it unreliable method. You ccan get pure CO with something called GULPS generator, it's a DIY kit that generates carbon monoxide with formic and sulphuric acid. Read carbon monoxide chapter at PPH for detailed information and how to make the kit.ah i understand now, one thing really im concerned of is that what kind of charcoal will i use, is it lump or briquettes and is the charcoal here in asia works? and how to light correctly, I don't want to mess it around because its hard to do it especially in my bedroom where we just can hear each other's voices because it's made by wood.
it's ok if you don't know how to exactly lit the charcoal I understand. but i only have access to charcoal burning and not on motor. but i will really search and ask more on this, anyways thanks for your infos. I've searched yeontan coal briquettes from korea is effective many have been successfully dead using this kind of charcoal in korea, but the problem is it's very hard to get it.
thank you again for sharing your informations, you have so many infos that helps me. i will research more on how to do it, its new again to me the mixes of this 2 acids. i need to read the pph about this. this is really hard for me, carbon monoxide is much harder to access. i just want to say something, I've seen a lot of successful way of charcoal burning like they just light up the charcoal in a room and wait then they are dead instantly, and the charcoal in a pan or casserole is not too much. how is that? There is a different way you can produce carbon monoxide without charcoal. They can succeed yes but there is this uncertainty about CO concentration. carbon monoxide concentration must be more than 1% or 10000 ppmthank you again for sharing your informations, you have so many infos that helps me. i will research more on how to do it, its new again to me the mixes of this 2 acids. i need to read the pph about this. this is really hard for me, carbon monoxide is much harder to access. i just want to say something, I've seen a lot of successful way of charcoal burning like they just light up the charcoal in a room and wait then they are dead instantly, and the charcoal in a pan or casserole is not too much. how is that?
is that possible to get 10000ppm i just burning a charcoal? I've read in google that charcoal burning can get 3200ppm only, that 10000pmm can be get in generators..They can succeed yes but there is this uncertainty about CO concentration. carbon monoxide concentration must be more than 1% or 10000 ppm
That's why burning charcoal is not that reliable but sometimes it can succeed.is that possible to get 10000ppm i just burning a charcoal? I've read in google that charcoal burning can get 3200ppm only, that 10000pmm can be get in generators..
yeah you're right. and there's a lot of preparations beforehand. That's why burning charcoal is not that reliable but sometimes it can succeed.

as what I've search on youtube about lighting the charcoal when lighting by newspaper it would be very smoky but its ok, that's why i prefer the butane torch because it's very easy and not so very smoky. cause im planning to buy a butane torch. as you've seen on the video, is it still ok to lit like using a butane torch? In terms of lighting it, I think just take some scrunched up pieces of newspaper, scatter around the coals and light with a lighter. To the best of my knowledge…
I really want to try this method but failure could mean brain damage… very risky, in my opinion.. I need to keep researching
