Is it okay if I just do SN with a painkiller ? I thought my meto would've been here by now sadly I'll have to do without.

Is there a way to measure 25g without a scale? Like a rough estimate?

Apparently 1 tablespoon is 14.3 g or if you have teaspoons you can do it that way

If you got it from IC, the packets are 50g and your best bet for accuracy is to divide it in half in identical glasses and compare visually. Probably better than trying to guage a perfect tablespoon imo.

Meto or ondansetron + domperidone is highly recommended. But not essential, apparently. You'll want 4 glasses of SN prepared for sure tho

Could you explain what "Meto" refers to, please?

And how would a simple painkiller help with SN?

Just out of curiosity, are there over the counter options for antiemetics?

I'm not gonna work this right, but it's metoclopramide. I think it makes the sn get into and stay in your small intestine quickly, but I could be wrong.

The only one I'm familiar with is Dramamine. I take them just for the hell of it because they make me feel warm and fuzzy. Particularly the orange chewable tablets.

I have horrible motion sickness and Dramamine works like a charm for that, but I've read where OTC anti-emetics aren't strong enough for SN.

I can imagine some folks like can ingest tough things and keep it down without the recommended medications, but I'll do some digging on it, thank you!
