I just wanted to know if using the slip knot for psh was reliable, i've seen some people here recommend the arbor knot instead for psh because they say the slip knot is a fixed knot but i've done some test with it and i don't think it's unreliable. I don't even think it's fixed, i have pressed it downards with my hand and it locks onto it just like the arbor knot would.
I also think it's slightly safer since it's wrapped twice (srry if this isn't the correct wording i'm an esl so i don't really know how to refer those two little wraps at the end).
i don't know if i'm overthinking it im pretty sure thousands of people have probably successfully ctb'd with that knot but the posts here about it worry me
and one thing that looks inevitable to me is probably crushing or damaging the adams apple or larynx? i genuinely don't know and i'm an idiot when it comes to this thing i've seen some neck anatomy diagrams but i don't know exactly what it is i just know it runs alongside the carotids (probably my adams apple), i've tested my setup and sometimes it genuinely felt like i was going to crush my neck, i applied some padding and it feels better but i just want to know if some neck damage or fracture is inevitable, i know i'm going to die so it doesn't matter but still would like to know
also sorry for this boring and long post
