The onset of action for pentobarbital (which for some reason people call N here) is NOT instant. It is 10 - 60 minutes; here is a source https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S2352007816301196

People make claims here and those just get repeated by others until they are accepted as fact. You need to ensure you are well informed, do research outside of this forum. Look for official medical or scientific sources.

N stands for nembutal, a product no longer made - Nembutal was pento in pill from. What you get when you order from A is liquid pentobarbital used in animal euthenasia.

I don't think anyone here believed that it was instant.

To read this article and call it reaserch is masochistic
And pph info which is now common knowledge among sites like this is a legitimate source

"In the vast majority of cases, one bottle (100ml @ 60mg/ml) of veterinary Nembutal will always be satisfactory and lead to a peaceful death, usually in ~1 - 2 hours." — The PPH

"Within a few minutes of taking the drink, the person falls into deep sleep, quite often in mid-sentence when talking to family and friends! As the level of drug in the bloodstream rises, more moves into the brain and sleep becomes deeper and deeper. At this point, another area of the brain is effected [sic]; that which controls the rate of breathing. The person's breathing slows down, and eventually stops altogether. With no oxygen entering the lungs, the person dies of 'respiratory arrest', where there is not enough oxygen in the circulating blood to maintain brain function. Lastly, the heart stops beating. Rarely is there any bladder or bowel motion." — The PPH

"While these people could have simply drunk the liquid Nembutal, each preferred intravenous administration. When delivered in this way, loss of consciousness is almost immediate (seconds), with death following a short time later." The PPH

"It is the most peaceful of deaths to witness. With Nembutal, you always die in your sleep." The PPH

You should always ensure several hours before potentially being found.
I recommend that everyone read The PPH first, then also other journals and accounts. But the conclusion seems simple, N is by far the most reliable and peaceful way. The details of its action do not matter much. 10 min or 5 min? 1 sec or 3 sec? Doesn't matter. If you take the substance, you fall asleep. Hopefully, then, you die. And if you are recovered, there is no brain damage, as that account linked on this thread shows.

How does brain damage not occur when you wake up if you fail your attempt to ctb?

This is not the first time you've posted this, and this is not the first time I've corrected you. Yes, pentobarbital in standard doses by mouth will take effect in 10-60 minutes. This is standard dosage and does not presuppose the person has an empty stomach with a medication designed to speed gastric emptying.

when you are taking a hundred times the standard dosage, onset can be faster. Watch the freaking dignitas videos and quit posting shit. In several cases, unconsciousness occurs in less than five minutes. I can't decide if you are just attempting to be obstinate or have an agenda. If you bothered to do any further digging, you could find average times to unconsciousness and times of death in the literature.

yes, everyone here knows that Nembutal is the brand name for pentobarbital. The same way most people call a tissue "Kleenex", an an adhesive bandage a "bandaid", and a cotton tipped applicator a "qtip."

what exactly is your point in repeatedly posting this? I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume that before posting again you will read:

With 10g of pentobarbital, 50% of deaths occurred in less than 15 minutes.

Of course it's not instant, I mean most inhalants, or all that you can actually get access to, are not.

Nembutal and Pentobarbital are used synonymously. Most people here seem to use the PPH which is about as good of a resource as you can get on the topic.
The fact that it isn't instantaneous is 1 of the reasons it is an ideal choice.
What is your point with the article ? Based on what it says the woman would have successfully died had someone not brought her to the ER. Obviously, one needs to make sure he / she won't be discovered prior to death.
