It is 10 grams. But it is taking forever to arrive and I'm unsure if it is being detained in customs. It's just a single pill. I don't know how to hold on but also don't know what else might truly work.
Well, that would be quite a big pill to swallow. Especially for someone who is terminally ill.
All you can do right now is wait and see.
I am not sure how much you trust your friend/contact, but another thought:
Euthanasia clinics and their employees are usually fairly protective of the drugs they dispense. They know the risk involved if those drugs get into someone else's hand, so... if that other person passed away from a natural death, they would have asked for those drugs back. I don't think they just prescribe a fatal cocktail and then hit the road and never look back.
At least not here in Canada. While most patients who receive MAID pass away in healthcare facilities, the drugs CAN be dispensed for at-home use. But the MAID assessors are usually kept in the loop by the pharmacy and by the patient/family and if drugs aren't used they have to be returned to the dispensing pharmacy to be destroyed.
