Thanx Logan. But the whole episode has drained me emotionally. I am a very sensitive person by nature and this betrayal just hit me too hard. No matter what I do my mind just replays all the events.
And especially if you are so sensitive, you should not act hastily. Give yourself time to process the whole thing and at least try to think about other things or distract yourself with positive things.

It happened in 2014-15. I discovered the dishonesty in 2019. Battled for 2 years. But with the emails deleted there is no way I can prove it. I cant even prove my email account was accessed. I am just worn out. I appreciate your words and will think about it. But it just hurts too much now

I understand that.
But please don't throw your life away because of it.
In a few years, you will certainly still think about it, but you won't want to take your life because of it.
I completely echo @logan. It's not your fault and I know it's hard but it wasn't personal, the guys just a cowboy. It's like putting trust in someone to rebuild your home and doing a bodge job. It's material. I know it can have a profound effect on your well being but this will be temporary and you can rebuild.
Have you tried contacting another solicitor and getting their view on it? I know some offer free consultations?

Yes. I reported to SRA but they didnt care. Paid a solicitor who said it was not an easy case to win. Another also agreed. Professional negligence is technical. Thank you for the kind words. I really am going to try to get over it a bit more. I appreciate you taking time to talk to me

Yeah I would, especially if it was painless. That's one of the main reasons I've been holding back, despite already having my method.

Oh. Are you in the USA? I hope you well. I wont tell you what to do but some people have sent me really good advice. Please check what they said. It may be useful to you too.

The more I research the more I think youre right. The instinct to fight death, the possibility of surviving with serious damage, the pain of other methods. Its so hard.

No. Pain doesn't affect at all my postponing to CTB. I don't care if I experience pain (I mean, unless it's something extreme like self immolation. I would not want to go like that). My only reason to not jump off a building or kick that bucket is my mom. I genuinely don't care about the pain anymore, a few seconds or minutes of agony are worth even one more year in this hell... Being alive is the worst pain I can ever experience...

If there was a painless quick way out (i.e the flick of a switch) I'd most definitely do it.

Yes, I would.

I invested so much time in my "friends", making presents, organizing meetups, texting them, calling them but they seem to forget about me if I don't remind them constantly that I am still alive. Made an experiment of not contacting them for over a month, nothing came back. It just breaks my heart...

I doubt that there would be any difference if I'm here or with my guardian angel. So yes, I wouldn't think twice.

In a heartbeat. It would have been better for the long run for the family had my bro not made the mistake of asking for a younger bro (aka me), he probably regrets it now
