Not Writing a Suicide Note

Hi, sorry if this is a dumb question

Would it be messed up if I didn't leave a note? I feel like no one truly ever really cared about me, at least not enough to notice the signs of how badly I was struggling. I don't really have anyone to write a note to anyways apart from my family but even then they didn't really seem to care. If I were to write one I want people to know about the pain I was suffering but at the same time I feel like someone could take that as me blaming them. IDK, I'm in a predicament here.

There was a father who made a post here a while ago who was messed up because his son left without a note. If that's something you're concerned about, leaving a note is generally the best choice.

I'd always recommend to write a note, even a short one, just to tell them it wasn't impulsive and to show the your intense suffering. Mine is ready since last year but I must write a new note because new things happened since last year (like being eligible for assisted suicide). Writing a note is not easy, but I think it's important. Family and friends will ask for a million answers. Without a note, I guess it will be more difficult for them.

I guess that makes sense. I don't want people to blame themselves but at the same time I want people to know the pain a lot of them caused me, is that fucked up to say? Also if you don't mind sharing, how did you get eligible for assisted suicide?

I will not leave a suicide note, because my parents are narcisistic, cold, unloving and uncomforting people. I don't have any friends nor spouses (girlfriends) to whom I may leave a suicide letter either.

I agree totally. If you have anyone that loves you, truly loves you, then leave them a note. Your death will be less painful to them that way. They won't be asking themselves endlessly why you did it. They will have the answer.

I'll highly suggest to write a note stating that
Why you did ctb
Who was responsible
What was your method
And if you wanna leave any msg for anyone in particular schedule that as an email to be delivered after you are gone


Why? Because police will investigate your death. They will have to rule out if it's murder or suicide. So, that note will help as an evidence that you have taken this step and what was your method so they don't have to drill down into your privacy after you are no more
