I'm 71 years old, diagnosed with multiple sclerosis almost 20 years ago, and recently lost my husband after 38 years together. I never had children, and I've always known I'd be alone when my time came.

I currently weigh 135 pounds. I always have diazepam on hand for my anxiety, and I have zantac and Gran Marnier.

A year ago I did my research thru PPH then purchased 180x amitriptyline 50mg tablets (9,000 mg) and stashed them in my fridge for safekeeping. Now I can't locate my research and verify that is enough.

Can someone please help me with my calculations? Thanks.

It would be unethical for another person to advise you on specific actions or dosages, but I am sad to hear that you have reached a place where you are seeking this information. There are certainly other people with chronic illnesses here. Feel free to vent about that any time. Lots of caring souls here.

Amitriptyline is usually effective in a large overdose, alcohol will augment the effect. It usually causes slowed breathing till your breathing stops. By this time the person is usually asleep. I am not giving tips, just that i once took 56 X 50mg tablets many years ago. I was discovered, an ambulance was called and woke up in hospital. Apparently i had stopped breathing and was intubated. Obviously i survived due to bad timing, this was a long time ago. All i remember is getting very drowsy, then coming round after i was in ITU.
