What has helped me in the past, when seeking more quality online contact, while trying to avoid just getting into random discord servers was getting into those pen pal apps like slowly etc; If you put some effort into creating an interesting profile and writing some non ai generated genuine letters to people you found interesting you can get some connection and thrill (at least for me)

hi so a thing that really opened up for me a lot of opertunities
is study servers

its really nice you have custom rooms and you can join and you are in room with strangers and most people are open for conversation and some banter usally and yeah

i formed a great friendgroup there and we meet and laugh every single day in between study sessions and its nice
and few really close friends to dm with
you will notice you slowly see faces over and over again and adds and from there it will snowball

i now feel that i reached the point that its holding me back because with how much fun i had they are not real people i can hangout with and i feel ready for the next step and that i spend too much time with them

Walks saved my life.

I pick up at least one piece of litter every day.

Some days I'm extra motivated and I'll pick up a lot.

I go on a trail and there's about a 4 mile strip that I pretty much single handedly keep litter free. (The cyclists are the worst cause of litter)

It's kind of awesome.

I've also managed to make it safer by dealing with this one creep.

You start recognizing the regulars. It's nice.

i like that! i guess im a regular at the beach, and every time i see someone left some plastics or wraps behind i get furious for a few seconds and sometimes it bothers me so much i feel i have to get up and throw it, does it happen to you too? the entitlment of some people just drive me nuts. lol

It really does make me angry. Try not to let the intrusive thoughts win.

The things I've found.

Last week I went on a walk on my lunch break at 12:00. After work at 5:00 I go on another, and there's something like 10 water bottles, some still full, just sitting in this massive pile. Like someone pulled their car over to the entrance by the road, and just threw all their garbage out.
