this is so embarassing but my landlord is trying to evict me because of a "messy apartment" which is comically clean. i woke up to her this morning praying and worshipping in the room above me screaming "LORD! LORD! DRIIIVE HIM FROM THIS HOUSE! DRIVE HIM FROM THIS HOUSE! HE DOESN'T BELONG HERE! OH LORD GET HIM OUT!!!"

She filed an eviction order but I don't think she has a case. I filed one against her too because she harasses me about random rules she made up and aren't in the lease, and calls me 20x a day trying to enforce them (i.e., windows need to be open or closed depending on the time of day), and changed a bunch of other stuff in the lease after I moved in like about parking, laundry etc. she is locking up the laundry now and im afraid my clothes will stink (one of the things she mentioned in the eviction order)

she literally stuck her face in my laundry basket and said "i dont want to be rude but i need to say something, your clothes smell awful" all of this makes me sound like the most disgusting person. i swear to god im not even close to as bad as it makes me sound. she even called my fucking work and harassed my boss asking "a million questions about me" he said.

it makes me sad because i'm also Christian and she's blaring Christian music thinking she will get God to drive me out of her house or something... idk what to do I can't even move rn due to finances

Where are you? Landlord Tenant laws might come into play.

Does your landlord have any means? Perhaps she would pay moving expenses if that would be good for her. Obviously you would probably be better off elsewhere.

Ewww, this is a yuck situation!

I'm in Canada. Oh it's a big Landlord-Tenant Board situation. I'm making the best of it but it can take 6-9 months for us to get a hearing. I'm hoping they can give me some of my rent money back when we do.
