I decided to do a partial to full hanging.

Ligature: a rope and to pad it, I will cut the sleeve off a sweatshirt and use that

Knot: slip knot

Method. From a door, I will tie the rope to one end, throw it over the door, but keep the noose high and use a small chair to reach the noose. I plan on taking one leg off the chair and leaning into the noose, when I feel like I'm blacking out, lift the other leg and go into full

Or I might use a ceiling fan

Let me know how to improve this or what can go wrong. Thanks

You are under the false impression that you have motor control before you black out.

If the ceiling fan can hold you, that would be good enough :-)

Should I lift one leg to lean into the noose to increase the pressure, then go into full so it's not as painful?

Like I said you have partial motor control. You won't be able to life your leg. If anything you will just flail it around.

Ok it's probably better to do partial then from a door. I don't know how to do this though, do I squat and lean my neck into the noose?

You only need enough pressure to compress the carotid arteries.
Isn't that a lot? Like would I tie the noose around my neck so tight that I can't breathe?

No you let the weight of your body compress it. That way when you pass out the pressure around your neck increases.

From my point of view, I see no mistake.
It seems very relieable.

You have quite good motor control until you black out.
It doesn't need much control to step off.
And finally, if you don't have motor control anymore, you still fall off the chair or be partial leaning on it, still hanging...
