I didn't, sorry, after she took it she was awake for around 30-35 min before passing out, which is very odd. We only know she did 24-27 hs of fasting, and didn't took metoclopramide. And threw up the first glass, we're unsure why it took her so long to pass out. Last post was 41 minutes ago, but i get timezones confused, so idk what time that'd be.
For some reason, her account logged off after a while too.

It is variable. I read of someone who took over an hour so it just depends on how each person's body handles it.
She was suffering.

People have a natural chemical in their bodies that tries to neutralize it and some have more than others.
It is possible her boyfriend got there.

Yes I feel that way, no idea if it's really "safe". I wonder how much she took and if she tested it for purity.
After reading all I an find, I think it is just variable as to how much of that chemical you have that neutralizes it.

It was first used in Australia to control the wild pig population and it was thought to be humane way to kill them.
Then it was tries in humans as a suicide method and then studied as to how it works. That is when they found
that pigs have almost none of that chemical that neutralizes it so they die very fast if they eat some.

I 100% agree with you. Each and everyone of us is unique in our chemical makeup and other things. I have taken drugs that work great for me and others have tried them with no luck, prescription drugs that is!

She experienced what a few others have reported here. Stomach pain and some really unpleasant symptoms, and not seeming as if it would work. Discomfort to the point of calling for help. And she was very determined too, it wasn't like she was changing her mind. I felt bad for her.
When people are suffering like that from it they really cannot force themselves to drink it again. It's understandable.

Here is one thing I wonder about and it is this: sometimes they add an anti clumping ingredient to it and I was reading about that. It's really nasty stuff. So I just wonder if some get it with that anti clumping agent. And maybe that is what is making them sick.

Yep, SN is really really random and the experiences are so different. I felt bad for her too... it sucks that it has to end like that for her, if it's even the end.

Ok maybe I'm finding some information here on the stomach pain some people report. If sodium nitrite is put into an acid, it forms this: Nitrous acid. Nitric acid is an extremely corrosive acid capable of causing severe chemical burns. So stomach acid must be neutralized first.

Nitrous acid (HNO2), a weak acid, is very unstable and exists only in aqueous solution. ... Nitrous acid is oxidized to nitric acid by active oxidizing agents and acts as an oxidizing agent with strong reducing agents. Sodium nitrite, NaNO2, is an important example of a nitrite—that is, a salt of nitrous acid.



Did she take an antacid first? It is not an optional thing according to PPH.

i took the ibuprofen and the tums (the only meds i have available to me), i have written all of the notes i have the energy to write, and i have a timer set to go off in 9 minutes. 9 minutes until i mix my SN and take it. i will be chatting with people and will have someone update you guys on my experience. thank you all for giving me a place to talk when i have nowhere else to turn to. thank you all. it's been a good ride

Yes I know. No idea why. Maybe some have more stomach acid or maybe they took something else to reduce acid.

I am taking the anti emetics in intervals hoping this works for me I did Pepto and tums too

I'm legit trying to do everything possible I have my gun and ammo also I just can't pull the trigger. I've failed so many times it's just more pain burden, racking up more bills my family and friends don't need anything else from me and I'd end up with half of a face worse off

It seems like that doesn't it way harder than you think I got my hair once trying to do it while nodding off on sleep meds your body jerks instinctively makes hand jerk

After research, it was found that proton pump inhibitors (PPI) were not useful for the SN process. Nor any other drug that changes the behaviour of your stomach producing acid. You only need something that reduces the stomach acid quickly.
