Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

People that say this will guilt trip the suicidal person into continuing their suffering just because other people would be sad. Its not healthy nor helpful. Its literally just a manipulation tactic that forces kind but tired people to continue. Essentially what they are saying no you cant kill yourself and your suffering doesn't matter because someone would be sad so no youll keep suffering bc i said so.

I heard this many times now and yk what i dont care at this point. If youd be that sad then you can kill yourself too. Im dont putting others first my whole life. For once ill be selfish.

Exactly like someone will be suffering either way if you dont CTB you will be suffering and its annoying when people say that to guilt trip because its like saying their suffering is more important than yours so you shouldn't CTB and end your suffering

People being devasted over my death would be a bonus. So many have hurt me during my life. It is their turn to suffer.

I feel like people misunderstand depression because they think it's just sadness. All these nonsense "Be grateful, otjers have it worse" or "Think positively" or even worse "You don't pray to God enough" oh ffs, stfu. They will never understand why or how I can love and be loved and still feel disconnected. I'm so exhausted from pretending that tomorrow will feel different because someone told me to "look on the bright side", yeah.. Whatever.

But why do they know? Why do you keep hearing it? It's time for some serious self-reflection🪞.

Unfortunately this.
Issues such as involuntary holds, among others, make it outright dangerous to even hint at suicidality. You risk being held indefinitely, rights basically suspended, and coming out on the other end with financial burden that by itself can be life-destroying.

Thus the further pain of keeping it a secret, not being able to properly give goodbyes, the extreme stress and pain of mapping the entire process out yourself. And that's before you even get to the moment of truth: train horn blaring, gun in mouth, downing random pills behind locked doors etc.

Definitely agreed it's a nasty manipulative tactic. Like most of us weren't drowning in enough guilt and pain.
And the vibes equivalent to stating that your pain is not important compared to anyone else's.
If this message comes from govts, organizations, therapists, and so on, it is also along the lines of telling a peasant not to die because the king needs the fields plowed, taxman needs the revenue, boss needs bonus...

Very true. Other people can't live my life for me, and they aren't suffering in my place. It might be sad but so is living a life that feels like endless suffering with no relief
