They don't. Public information about suicide has been around since the beginning of the internet. I have been active on ASH many, many years ago, for the people that remember that place here. I remember the documentaries about it, because it was as controversial as this forum, where there were several testemonies of people saying places like this actually helps people and reduces their suicidal thoughts, just because they can openly talk about it.

Even if Fixthe26 succeeds in changing that particular law, which they won't, the hosting of this website can just be moved outside of the US. And even if all countries worldwide start to introduce internet censorship, sites like this would just move to the darkweb.

They're hopeless. Instead of doing all that effort trying to take this site down, they could become activists to improve mental health care instead. They have no understanding about the internet at all.
