Hey, everyone. I'm a South American guy, early 20s. Currently going to college, trying to get very healthy after years of self-destructive habits (drugs, a severe ED, among other shit).

I have a few close friends and a great girlfriend but I've always had issues opening up or even talking about anything remotely personal offline. It's just embarrassing and makes me feel like a helpless bullied child again.

I'd really like to meet someone I can share anecdotes with, not necessarily related to suicide or mental health although these two things do cross my mind very often. I like Listening to others, I can even be a bit nosey if I truly care about them because I want to help them navigate the world and do well. That being said, I am quite asocial and have gone days without speaking a single word to anyone except clerks at Local stores and beggars.

I don't have a lot of specific things to mention in terms of my hobbies. I play the guitar to an acceptable level and try to sing. I also play sports whenever I can and lift weights. My true passion is music although I've never shared my songs with anyone lol. After losing my job I've spent most of my days listening to music (indie, rap and ambient mostly) and reading about historical events.

I'm 20. Was born a male. I'm not interested in talking about my gender but that is my biological sex. I'm an American. I have Aspergers Syndrome (diagnosed age 4, now in the Autism spectrum), ADD (now ADHD, diagnosed at a similar time), Dysthymia, General Anxiety Disorder, Psychosis not specified (although I don't really get any symptoms anymore), Gender Identity Disorder/Gender Dysphoria and Agoraphobia.
I'm currently enrolled in community college about to get my associates (one term left) and transfer to a good 4 year soon studying Computer Science, I particularly really like compiler theory, reverse engineering, operating systems… anything low level I really like. The programming languages I know personally are C/++, x86 (assembly) and Rust. My own niche field I like is binary analysis and obfuscation. I can yap endlessly about computers but I'll stop there lol.
I play video games sometimes but most of the time they don't really hold my interest very long. I like all types of games but my favorite ones right now are Milsims like squad and paradox games (grand strategy, like hearts of iron 4 and such) if you forced me to name my favorite game though it'd either be Donkey Kong Country 2 or Lisa the Painful.
I also have other interests.
My depression and suicidal ideation first came about I think since the third grade and in the 5th grade I did get hospitalized where all my mom's knives were locked up and stuff. I feel like an alien everywhere I go and I don't like really anything about myself and I try my best to fix it by volunteering and going to support groups but I just can't handle the outside world.

I'm severely disabled and chronically ill with degenerative conditions and a lot of pain and trauma. Also autistic and mentally ill. The medical stuff is the main thing that wrecks me. Currently bedbound.

I've got autism and C-PTSD. Usually I just stay indoors. I wouldn't say I'm shy but definitely socially atypical. I don't go out much so I usually just stay indoors making songs and playing games in my PlayStation.

Before I was an indoor cat, I usually just went out a lot but it was usually with a goal in end like collecting something from FB Marketplace or something to give myself plans. But it was always about the journey than the destination

Interested in making some friends, preferably from England too but I don't mind tbh.

I don't like this word but I sort of have "trust issues", I don't know how to explain it but I find friendships rather uncomfortable so I have been trying to consciously be more 'genuinely' open in getting to know others, as I often looked like I don't care about them when I did.

I'm NEET at the moment, was an electrician but didn't work out due to circumstances out of my control. Might pursue music in college but I don't consider music that interesting. It's more to channel my energy than a hobby really, but it's something to do.

I'm quite laidback or stiff on the outside but quite mentally turbulent. Most of my anxiety just comes from how much I don't fit in. I don't feel scared of talking to people tho.

In terms of CTB. I do feel like I should do it. I don't necessarily want to but if I decide I won't do it then I'll have to live with my past decisions with people I can't make up with.

If you're down to chat, that's calm lmk. I don't talk about suicide much outside of this forum as it is quite exhausting to talk about.

You keep asking people very personal questions in public threads. Most people are not going to feel comfortable opening up about something that private in a public space. If someone wants to share those experiences, they should be able to do so on their own terms or in a private conversation where they feel safe.

Please be mindful of the boundaries around sensitive topics and avoid asking people to disclose personal stuff unless they have chosen to talk about in a private conversation.

I value freedom and self-sufficiency yet I rely on government welfare. I live with my parents. I fantasize about running away and dying in the jungle.
I recognize that I have to fix myself, yet I still hope another person will come and fix me.
I have OCD. I have physical health problems everywhere which make my life painful. I was a NEET for 3 years and did nothing but sit on the computer.

I ignore people when they ask too much of me. I hide my feelings when I have problems with others or I disagree. I don't like when people impose on me or try to get me to do things or believe things that I don't want to do or believe. I try to be a "good person."

I've spent most of my life knowing I was different but trying to fit into a neurotypical world. Lately though, I realized I have actual limitations that make fitting in or even just existing around others a hellish struggle. I'm more or less living in isolation at this point - but I'm holding on to a slim hope that I can get back out into the world. Alas, life has shown no signs of letting up so far.

- Some music genres I like: rock, metal, kpop, mandopop, classical, choral, video game osts
- Don't often watch anime anymore but some favs: black butler, death parade, uramichi onii-chan. Read a lot of webcomics these days.
I'm the type to try a lot of different things but not finish the media I start consuming :,)
- my mental state changes pending situationally. little things can affect me a lot, but most especially things related to my family, even if it seems insignificant to an outsider
