Hello, probably the most important reason why I consider ctb is my brutal and tremendous addiction to benzodiazepines.
I have been addicted to them for more than 20 years and they have completely destroyed my nervous system.
I was wondering if there is someone with a similar problem in this forum since from what I know and I have asked my case is very extreme.
I currently take 12mg lorazepam a day which is utterly insane

Damn. You have a lazy Dr?

The risk of dependence increases with higher doses and longer-term use, which is why it's advised that individuals only take lorazepam for 2 to 4 weeks, though signs of dependence can appear after even 1 week of using a benzodiazepine.

Benzo and opioid addict here. I feel for you, and I am sorry you have to struggle in this way. Addiction is hell.

Sending my best wishes to you, stranger.

That's a really high dose and a long time. Sorry to hear that. I'm also on lorazepam but only 1.5 mg at night. Been on it for months and already feel like I'm screwed. It's certainly having a bad effect on me and now I'm stuck on it. Benzos are the devil.

I used xanax for 2 years and now i have been using clonazepam for a few months and my brain became sooo slow and confused. I'm forgetting things really quickly, i mix up words while im talking, i stutter... Sometimes it even makes me feel embaressed.

If just two years of taking this type of drug made my brain like this imagine 20.

I love benzos. Mostly to help me come down from cocaine. This is all living in central America. I can easily see how you could become addicted. And I'm sorry because I remember how hard it was to function those days.
I'm also an addict. Now it's booze. Not because I like it because I'm hoping I'll just die.
