Any civilized society has the responsibility to not have an innocent girl kill her baby. There are many wonderful people in the world who will care for an infant if another is unable to. And I'm sorry that you believe a child growing in a womb is just a "clump of cells." I pray that you find God one day so that you don't have to live with such darkness in your heart.
Fuck you and your psychopathic god lmao

Under Trump the economy experienced deflation, the opposite of inflation. That's how in order things were under him. Under Kamala overall inflation has increased over 50% in 3 years. It's an economic disaster America had never seen before. This along with having open borders flooding every city are far more important issues than the desire to kill children or whatever other personal grievance you have.

And this is what I'm talking about. Privileges revoked? Subhuman? Who is saying they're going to do any of this? Did any of this occur at all when Trump first took office? Of course not. You are suffering entirely in your imagination, not in reality.

Project 2025 was made by the Heritage Foundation. It has nothing to do with Donald Trump. Or Russian bots, for that matter. You've bought into media scare tactics.
The truth is hard to accept for some. šŸ˜Š

You need to stay off the internet. This, ladies and gentlemen is a shining example of a brainwashing.
Me being upset about a rapist being elected president and Republicans ruining the country and possibly the entire world is brainwashing? Lmao okay.
Guys I think bots and trolls have infiltrated this thread. :)

Name calling always works when you can't handle a rational discussion. Good job.
A rational discussion with people who believe in godā€¦ right.

Sorry if I offended you. There's no discussion to be had when I fundamentally disagree with your worldview.

There are no magic words that will ever make it ok to criminalize abortion. You can say baby and child and murder but all that really matters is some are offended by it and some aren't. Either the offended side has the political clout to outlaw it or they don't. My civilized state voted overwhelmingly last night for a constitutional amendment protecting the right to abortion. Had nothing to do with semantics, we all know what abortion is. The other side simply didn't have the numbers.

yes, that is in fact brainwashing and extremely over dramatic. There is nothing "lmao" about it really.
That is the state out our society. And you are an example.
If that is how you choose to interpret it so be it. But I speak facts

Child birth is not harm. It's a natural and blessed event, even if horrible events lead to it. And I'm willing to bet that your desire for abortion is not merely limited to 11 year olds or rape victims. You want women to be able to kill their children as a matter of convenience, or even contraception.

So tell me, what do you think is gonna happen now that the Republicans are the majority?

What if you got pregnant and something bad happened to you, like a stillborn or miscarriage but doctors can't help you because abortion is outlawed and they value your baby's life oner yours even though the baby is highly unlikely to survive? Would you accept your death?

Hard to accept or they flat out refuse to? Because then they will have nothing to bitch and moan about online. Or blow out of proportion using media propaganda and fear mongering.
People
People will be the downfall of our society just as they always have.

I guess I'm a bit on the opposite side of the viewpoint on this. Donald Trump's win has given me some amount of hope that I haven't had in a while. It seemed for a time that Western civilzation was destined to be forfeit and that white Christians such as myself just had to deal with discrimination. Now I see that I'm not alone and in fact most people agree with me. Today has been filled with an optimism I haven't had in a while. I'm so happy that he won!

I never really understood the idea that Trump has somehow been against the LGBT+ community. That's never been a part of his belief or his campaign. The notion that you have to now be afraid if you're LGBT is kind of silly and not really a rational viewpoint. The truth is that life was better for Americans 4 years ago when he was president.

It might be disappointing to not have your side win, but this is certainly a win for America as real issues like the economy, inflation, immigration and crime will be addressed in meaningful ways. Sometimes there's a difference between what you want and what you need.
How are you discriminated against as a white Christian?

Stillbirths and miscarriages don't require abortions. And if your only concern is matters of life and death then you should be totally fine with outlawing abortion in non-life threatening cases, right?

No I'm saying the doctors can't help you with your miscarriage because of the abortion laws because yesā€”that will prevent you from receiving medical attention.

There are countless ways Christians are discriminated against. During COVID,for example, Christians were being arrested for attending church while mosques and synygogues were left open. Corporations will actively fire Christians for espousing their faith in the workplace as it goes against "safety and inclusion" policies. You can also just take a look at this thread, where people openly mock and wish ill on Christians for their faith. Christians are easy targets as we do not benefit from the same systems of protections as other groups or minorities.

Miscarriage assistance is not an abortion. And you ignored my question.

Saying that anti-lgbt rhetoric is not a part of Trump's campaign is ridiculous. He has called for actual violence against us, especially transgender people. It's not "disappointing", our lives are in danger.

As someone else mentioned, it's Dilation and curettage (D&C). A surgical procedure that involves dilating the cervix and removing tissue from the uterus. This is related to abortion because doctors don't wanna help you if it means prioritizing your life over your dying baby's. And no, abortions shouldn't be banned period. It's healthcare and it's fucked up to prevent people, especially rape victims and literal children from getting abortions because of pro-life bullshit.

He did no such thing. And no, your life is not in danger. Public aversion to this type of zealous hyperbole is why your side lost the election.

If a doctor doesn't want to help you then I would take it up with the doctor. There is currently no abortion ban in the US that prohibits medical professionals from intervening in life-threatening situations.

We're not gonna question the bodily autonomy of women in a forum that puts bodily autonomy as the core value that legitimites the right to die in the first place.

There are countless ways Christians are discriminated against. During COVID,for example, Christians were being arrested for attending church while mosques and synygogues were left open. Corporations will actively fire Christians for espousing their faith in the workplace as it goes against "safety and inclusion" policies. Interesting. Do you recognise the ban on assisted suicide and restrictions on your right to die in many countries around the world stem mostly from religious dogma and its influence on society? Like, what do you think both parties in the US would respond to the prospect of assisted suicide as a basic human right that ensures you remain in control over your own life and death? It's just a bit odd to suggest that Christians, the dominant religion that makes up the majority of the population in the US, has been discriminated at, when it's minority groups like trans people (like myself) who have been persecuted in many states simply for existing with laws that make it more difficult to live my life the way I want, without harming anyone. Do you think the 250 anti-LGBTQ bills that were filed in many red states, places with a high priority for "Christian values", are an act of tolerance and acceptance?
